"So I own a 2018 zx10r SE, bought it in July 2019 brand new from the dealership. 1 mile on clock. Later that month bought a shorai lithium battery, paid cash. Guess the dude at cycle gear didn't bother to ask or if he did, didn't put it under my name in the system. 7 months later the battery wont hold a charge. No problem, I'll just go and exchange it. Well, I paid cash and wasn't entered into system. Have proof of date of purchase of my bike though, who buys a battery before the bike, no one ever... Anyhow. Doesn't matter my bad and I have to eat the 200 plus dollar price and buy another one. Very frustrating that the battery died. Even more so that my gen bike has been made for less than the 5 years warranty period offered on the battery and my bike is the only one that takes that size battery. They still couldn't or wouldn't do anything about it. Not happy about that and will probably not recommend the battery or cycle gear anymore unless they pull thier heads out and fix this. "
