"You can tell a lot about a business when there is a mistake. With a big ride on Saturday, I called Wednesday to check if my tire had arrived. Apparently my order had not been placed. This store made sure my tire was delivered and installed by Friday so I could make my ride. Not only that but a discount to boot. I'm very impressed with cycle gear Portland and Kendra was particularly helpful. "

When it comes to tires, the purchase is alright but mounting seems to be a VERY BIG INCONVENIENCE for this store, it does not matter if they are not busy it is ALWAYS, leave your wheel and it will be ready by the END OF TOMORROW. The last time I had one mounted it still was not ready and I called ahead and was told "we are doing it right now" walked in the store 1.5 hours later and there it was with the old tire on the rim and the new tire beside just like I left it."

He did not directly communicate his fearfulness of being associated with such a puss-bike
But i got the message

"I’m a first time rider so I had no idea what I needed to be safe. They helped me get things I needed with out pushing all the flashy crap just the basics . It was like was like this is the best but what I would get is the good stuff for just starting out get a feel for it then start putting together the things u need. They were more concerned with me then trying to make a buck they truly had me in mind and not there pocketbook will be buy all my future gear from them!!!!!"

"Bought some gloves that had recently ripped on the stitching. Went to go buy new ones that were the same ones and noticed that the gloves says 2 year warranty on it. I knew the gloves weren't 2 years old but the receipt I'm sure I have tossed out. I asked the guys ( I want to say it was Ben but couldn't remember) about my situation. He was very helpful on looking me up on their computer on my purchases and found the item that I have bought, printed out the receipt for me and I came back the next day with my old gloves and out with the new ones. They were very helpful and customer service is always great when I enter their store. Thanks Cycle Gear!"
