"I tried to order an item from DBROTH via Amazon.com. I had Australia selected as my country and the items showed FREE shipping if I purchased TWO. After a lengthy Amazon sign-up process I then get to discover an additional US$ 100 shipping fee. Very dishonest [this practice is otherwise known as DRIP PRICING]. "
"I purchased a wireless remote shutter release from DBRoth. When the item arrived it did not match the product description. After exchanging a few e-mails with DBRoth Customer Support I thought that we had come to a reasonable solution, and I waited for that solution to arrive in the mail.
However, when the package arrived it contained only a small portion of the arrangement that I understood that we had agreed to.
I e-mailed DBRoth again, and their responses became rude and disrespectful.
Recommend that you take your business elsewhere."
"Won bid (at seller's listed minimum of $2,349.95) on a Nikon D810 Camera (“Product is as new and in working condition. May show some slight marks on product user's manual.”)
through Ebay from DB_Roth and paid immediately through Paypal. That was on a Monday. No communication from the seller, no tracking number, so on Thursday I asked for the tracking number. On Friday received a message the order was cancelled, "out of stock". Yet each day Monday through Friday the seller had relisted this item with the identical description, individual one day auctions. And none of these sold! The only positive note is that I did receive a refund and am thankful now that I did not potentially receive a defective item and have to go through further dealings with this seller.
A formal complaint was made with Ebay. This is a fraudulent practice, to offer an item for sale and them refuse to complete the sale.
Recommend not doing business with this seller.
Note there are numerous other complaints regarding this seller on the internet. From my experience, there is basis for these complaints."
