"Purchased a diamond ring from diamond.com on 12/27. It was shipped on 12/29 and got the ring on 12/31. Ends up my wife doesn't like the shape (she prefers round instead of princess cut) and I got to return to them. I got a refund within a week they got back the ring. Everything is smooth and customer service is great. When I called them that I wanted to return because of the shape of the diamond, they helped me to do a search with my new criteria and sent me an email with a link. They also had another representative calling me to follow up. Will definitely do business again with them."
"Purchased a watch at a significant discount, and everything went smoothly. Shipped out the same day, watch was in perfect condition. Would definitely deal with them again."
"The item which I purchased was a Skagen watch for $75. At first I thought this company is a bit weird because it has the same corporate address as www.ashford.com and worldofwatches.com. Since the price is not that much I tried it out anyway.
The watch arrived on time. However instead of getting the mesh titanium watch item 7197 which I am sure I clicked on, I got another item (an older style Skagen chain link watch). After looking back at the receipts I noticed that the item which showed up on my receipt was item #5284. However, there is no item #5284 on their catalog and I am sure I did not click on that one.
I ended up keeping the watch because on my receipt it said that I ordered that item. I liked the watch anyway so it is not a complete loss. However buyers should be aware of this company and make sure to take notes on what you clicked, I think their website might have some issues."
"(NOTE: this applies to diamond.com, not another merchant called diamonds.com)
At first I was a little nervous about buying jewelry from an online merchant. After all, you're simply sending money into a void and hoping that you get something back. But I knew exactly what I wanted, diamond.com had it, it looked good (at least on their web site), and it was about $50 cheaper than a local jewelry store. In the end I decided to go with them, since their setting (diamond pendant) was slightly more unique than any others. Hell, I've spent more at online computer stores anyway. Fortunately, everything turned out well. The product was packaged very nicely, shipped insured and on-time (and free!), and was as good as the picture on the site (note, the pictures are obviously enlarged, so make sure you use the measurements they provide to determine the product's true size). I don't know too much about jewelry, but their site explains a lot and the diamonds are described in better detail than you'll actually get from most local jewelers (such as diamond color, cut, clarity ratings). Well, it looked good, and most importantly, she loved it. I don't know how their customer service is (and hopefully I never will...), but they have a no questions asked full refund policy for a month after your purchase. I guess the best rating a company could receive is if their customers returned. If (when?) I need to get something like that again, I would shop their again."
