"After placing my order I was contacted and told the Nikon 24-70mm 2.8 I ordered for $732 had a plastic mount. I was then advised to get a sigma lens that was considered better and had a metal mount... however, after doing some research on the lens that one of their reps recommended (Sigma 17-50mm 2.8 EX DC OS with FLD Glass) I realized I was charged $200+ over the going cost of the Sigma 17-50mm lens for Nikon which goes for $669. I was charged $899 with an additional fee of $49 which I was not made aware of until my card was charged. I was also told I was getting a deal by including a free UV filter. (that only cost $9.99 at market value) I am NOT happy and would have returned the lens but after reading more reviews on DigitalDepotOnline I simply do not want to bother because it's not worth the time and headache... ALSO, THEY DO NOT POST THE CORRECT DESCRIPTIONS OF THEIR PRODUCTS. THE DSLR LENSES HAVE PLASTIC MOUNTS AND THE DSLR CAMERA BODIES ARE JAPANESE, which means the menus are in Japanese... that is why the cost of their DSLR Bodies and Lenses are so low. DON'T ORDER ONLINE... CALL FIRST! PLEASE be sure to ask if it's a PLASTIC or METAL mount and if it's a USA BODY or Japanese Body.

"I recieved something that I thought was different than I ordered from DigitalDepotOnline. I called to get my money back. When I called them I talked with Steven who was very nice and very accomadable. I was worried about restocking fees, insurance fees and all the other fees that is on the return policy. Steven assured me I would get back all but the insurance fee of $50. When I recieved my money in my bank account it was just as he said. I was very happy and satisfied with the return policy.
Why did I want to return? The camera that I received was brand new and was awesome. The lens I received however was not what I was thinking it would be. I was told it was a $1000 lens turns out it was not. Was it a great lens? Absolutely! Did I still get a great deal overall? Absolutely! Did they treat me right? Absolutely! The origninal sales guy got a little over zellous in telling me what I was buying because of the lens. Could I get the same deal for the price anywhere else? Probably not! Would I order from these guys again? Probably. I would just make sure what I am Buying is exactly what I will be recieving. I got in a hurry and did not research first. The main reason I returned it was the camera itself. I am going to Italy and I thought it would be great to have an SLR. When I got it, it was very heavy and I already have a Sony midrange camera.

"I just got my Canon 7D bundle from Digital Depot Online and the package was awesome...even a few little extras that I did not think about the were in the kit. I was ready to roll in minutes. Used the 7D over the weekend on an aerial photo shoot and it was so easy to use...moving up from the 40D, but with way more speed and the HD video is superb. I called Salesman BEN back because there was one item missing from the bundle, but he jumped on it and sent asap. My first purchase from Digital Depot and I'm very impressed!"
