Originally I rated Directeron very poorly based on my discussion w/ customer service. Later the same day they called me back to offer me a refund of the stocking fee and shipping based on my dissatisfaction. I am happy that they chose to do this, but was of course disappointed that this was not handled during the original phone call. My original complaint was on the percentage of probability of success on whether the memory I was ordering would work or not, followed by what I believe is a very high restocking fee of 20% that was originally being charged, but has happily been refunded as mentioned. "

"I contacted them via the phone since i had questions on the shipping charge. I made some changes to my shipping type. On 2 of my 4 calls, i had been waiting for the phone ring for awhile, and it was dropped. When i finally spoke to the rep, this person was not professional at all. I can relate to another reviewer who said that the 'rep seemed more concerned about her enchilada than his order'. The phone call ended with the rep telling me that she will have someone contact me for my request.

Who doesn't love saving money on their order right? The rep left a sour taste in my mouth due to her lack of professionalism. I would rather take my business elsewhere.

I received a phonecall from Directon the following day after i cancelled. They apologized for my previous experience, and offered me a shipping discount. I was still unsatisfied, but decided to take their offer as i had spent quite a deal of time researching where to order the pc case from. The rep i spoke to was genuinely concern and put much effort to patch what was done. Kudos to that..."

"My father had agreed to pay for my new ATI HD 2900XT as a gift, so I placed an order in his name but shipped to my name. Although we live at the same address, they would not ship it. A few days later, I received a phone call from a man asking for me then for my father. I told him that he was working and would not be back until after they closed so I asked what the problem was. Rudely explained and implied to me, basically they thought I had stolen my father's credit card to score myself a new graphics card. I explained to the man that I was 18 years old and that my father had purchased it as a gift, and if there was a problem with it being shipped to my name at the same address, to please change the shipping name back to my father's name. He refused and rudely asked "What's the big deal?" and stating that all he wanted to do was speak to my dad and that I was somehow giving him a hard time. In the end, it was all sorted out, but I do not think I will ever be ordering from Directron.com again if I have to deal with their customer service representatives."

"I was really blown away by Directron's service. They managed to get me inline and checked out withing a matter of minutes. I actually ended up getting the merchandise that I bought from them BEFORE I got other merchandise which I purchased from Newegg.com. The crazy thing is, I ordered from Newegg first and they had about a full day head start.

Everything arrived in great condition. The packing slips were right on target with all items that I ordered. I know that seems like something that's implied with the term packing slip, but trust me...some companies don't seem to understand the importance of having correct information, especially when shipping products.

"I reseached for many hours online trying to find a pc power supply that would fit my computer case. HP was a useless bunch of people who insisted that I pay $ for information. Finally I found Directron. The Directron website gave detailed information about each power supply, including dimensions! They had a great many products to search through, but I finally found what I needed: a 3.5 x 4 x 6 inch replacement for my present burned out HP power supply. Most would fit length x width but only one would be short enough depth to fit my pc case. The price was reasonable. For $5 extra they test the power supply before shipping to avoid the dreaded doa. I will do business again with Directron."
