"I had an issue of not receiving some of the free stuff with an order I placed and being shipped a wrong case from an earlier order.

Directron contacted me and said they were going to resolve the matter by sending the free stuff as well as some other things from an order placed a while back.

UPDATE-
I received what Directron shipped me, all of the free stuff I originally order with my purchase plus the Dragon front cover they looked long and hard to find and not only did they send the cover and free stuff but the cover had a whole PC case attached to it and the free stuff was multiplied. Directon went WAY out of their way to make things right with me. They clearly and unmistakably value the customer's patronage. I am absolutely confident in getting a good experience from this store. You should be too.

Oh yeah, almost forgot to mention, they also packaged the case and everything in their double-box packaging. The biggest order I placed with them a while ago I ordered at extra cost the double-box packaging. This shipment included among all the other things free.

I feel the need to make it up to them for going so overboard on the resolution of this matter. I'll buy as much as I can afford from them in future purchases."

"Very disappointed with my system order. The credit card verification process is way too slow. The order was placed 9 working days ago. To be fair, they sent a verification e-mail a day after the order, but the e-mail wasn't seen until 5 days later, which is my fault. On the 6th day, verification info was sent. On the 7th day, a request was sent for the bank's telephone number, which I had already included on the original order form. Then on the 9th day, I call in and am told that the system will be built and then shipped on the 10th day. It will likely take about 4 business days to receive. So in total, this process will have taken about about 13 business days, which I feel is too long. Why couldn't we have gotten a phone call or two if we weren't available?

Anyway, I deal with a lot of different vendors and the verification process is so much faster. Unless I get something like free shipping on this order, then I'm not going to order again.

"Ordered an Intel E6750 and Win Vista 64-bit. Not only did Directron have this processor in stock before anyone else I could locate, they also offer cheaper than any vendor I could find.

Received order next day. I didn't order, nor pay for next day delivery.

"I order from directron often. They are local to me, so I can typically just go pick up my items. My last few orders have been pretty poor experiences. The first time, I went in the store and was waiting for nearly 2 hours for my order to be pulled. This was all caused because they didn't have any of the beige DVD burners listed as "in stock" on their web site. More recently, I've decided to pay for shipping so I don't have to bother myself with going into their store (waiting 30 minutes to an hour happens to me regularly). I ordered a case badge and it wasn't shipped. I send a few emails to find they don't even carry it anymore. I really hope some more local companies can start competing with directrons prices and selection soon."
