"I ordered a Fitbit for my youngest child. I thought $60 was a good deal, since I got one from a local store 2 years ago, and it was $100. Well, it's only when the company Discount-Merchant sent me an email of item shipped that they mentioned that the item was refurbished! The next disappointment was when we'd received the Fitbit and it was in an unusual packaging, the strap was too rough and the buckle wasn't snapping well. I called the Customer Service to request a return, and I was told that there was a 25% restocking fee (plus I would pay the shipping and handling fee) even for this defective item. I tried to argue with her, but she was robotically repeating 25% restock fee (This fee wasn't mentioned when I made the order, nor in the email announcing the shipping item). If I had bought the same item from any other store, I would have gotten a better customer service and a better return policy.
Don't trust this merchant (Discount-Merchant) A total rip-off! (and time wasting)"
"I ordered a lamp module with a Phillips bub and requested the free shipping. The lamp arrived in less than a week. Upon arrival I opened the module and was pleased to discover the Phillips bulb I ordered.
I word of caution, the mailing label indicated the lamp came from Exclusive Bulbs rather than Discount-Merchant.com. Exclusive Bulbs has not been well rated on Reseller Ratings."
"Ordered a Phillips lamp for an old TV. In fact I messed up and ordered wrong the first time.
These people could not have been better to deal with. The minute I gave them a tracking number for the package I was returning, they shipped the correct unit out with out charging me for it and issuing a later credit. Remember I ordered wrong, my mistake, But they helped make it right!
Have the new lamp, and could not be more pleased!

"I placed my order on the 25th of January, paid for the 3-5 day shipping. As of right now I was told it was shipped but couldn't tell me when I would get my lamp. He said I would eventually get it!!!!!!!!! Really??? Found out that it didn't ship until the 27th and couldn't tell me know more, asked to speak to the complaint department but they were in a meeting to call back........Man they have super customer service!!!!!! I will find somewhere else to order from next time!!"
