"I found dotcells.com through a google search for an ipod charger. Their prices are cheaper than everyone else on a lot of things, but there is definitely a reason for that - THEY ARE HORRIBLE. After they get your money, they don't care about satisfying their customers. I ordered myc able on January 13, 2011. I didn't receive my item after 10 days, so I email them. They reply 3 days later with:
"The item was shipped. Would you like us to send out another one or would you like a refund?"
I told them I just wanted my cable. They supposedly sent out another one. After 10 more days, I email them (since they don't give out their phone number). Dotcell's customer service replies with:
"The item was shipped out. You should receive it soon."
it's now February 7, 2011 - almost a full month since I paid for my item. STILL NO CABLE. NO RESPONSE FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE.
THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD."

My iphone was recently stolen. Since I couldn't immediately afford another one, finding dotcells.com was, what I thought, a huge stroke of luck.
I ordered a Palm Treo 650; nothing fancy, just something to send texts/emails/make calls until my wireless account offered an upgrade. Unfortunately, that was where the trouble started.
I paid for expedited shipping (2-5 days, the fastest they offer) because I was completely without a phone and needed it fast. The order didn't ship for two days, which is far longer than any other website, large or small, that I've ever ordered from. Had this been the only issue, though, I wouldn't have had too many complaints.
The order shipped on Wednesday and arrived on Friday, which pleased me very much. Upon opening the box I was impressed with the phone; it was in physically perfect condition, without a scratch I could see. So I plugged it in and began to fiddle with it.
After awhile I grabbed my SIM card and proceeded to try and insert it, but couldn't figure out where to put it. I found an online manual, and quickly discovered that this model of phone has a SIM tray, which allows the SIM card to fit in the phone and be switched easily. My phone, however, did not HAVE a SIM tray. This rendered the phone completely useless. I was hugely disappointed.
Immediately I got on the phone with customer service, but after a full 10 minutes on hold, gave up. I tried again later to the same results. Instead, I wrote an email and received a reply several hours later. I was told that there was nothing they could do for me, and that my only options were to send back the phone and either get a refund or exchange it.
At this point, I have been without a phone for nearly a week, and the idea of sending it back and waiting for a new, possibly again incomplete phone sounded like another big mess. Not to mention I would have to pay return shipping and shipping again on the new phone, even though it was their mistake.
I went to a different website and bought the piece for $1.75. This review and the bad word of mouth that I will spread could have been avoided many times over by just doing a few small things better.
I'm incredibly disappointed with my interactions with dotcells.com. The email I received was clearly a pre written, covers all bases type of thing and combined with the inability to get anyone to pick up the phone at customer service, it felt like a blow off.
I suggest only purchasing from this site if you are in no hurry to receive your product and don't mind having to send it back due to missing pieces."

The phone is exactly as described and working perfectly. Very easy to activate with Verizon. The price was reasonable. And, unlike most used cell phone dealers, they will take it back without a restocking charge, regardless of the reason for return. I am pleased and I am glad that I chose Dot Cells, Inc."
