"A friend referred this company to me and told me it was awesome. I have yet to experience awesome.
I ordered candy totaling $98.87 for my wedding day 2 months in advance. My wedding was 16 months ago, I still have not received my shipment or a refund. Despite over numerous attempts to contact the company and their sister companies (hometowncandy.com & jordanalmonds.com. By phone: left 1 message then voicemail rep. as full and now finally their number is disconnected.
approximately 25 emails sent to the company address provided on the website. This is exhausting. I am still holding out hope that I will receive a response and refund. You think I would have given up on this company the day of my wedding when there was still no shipment, no response....
I am a special education teacher and have a great deal of patience but my patience is running out for this company. "
"I ordered $36.84 worth of candy on 6/24/07. My credit card was instantly charged. The site stated they shipped priority mail--3-4 days and I got sent a USPS tracking number but still not shipped. Emails and phone calls are all left unanswered. Have filed complaint with BBB, FTC, their Domain provider and am filing a dispute with my credit card company."
"Sadly, I found this information too late! After going through what appeared to be legitimate websites, I placed a small order to try out their candies. I ordered 5 lbs of various candies to taste test for our business gifts. I experienced the same things as others unfortunately. Their web site states same day or next day shipping. NOT TRUE. They state delivery within three days to our area. NOT TRUE. They list phone numbers that no one answers, live web help that is not functioning, and apparently, a staff of one answering emails, and she is named "Karen". There is no response to emails unless the header is "quote request". I've been promised several shipping dates (none of which was apparently true). After finally getting tired of the runaround and filing with the BBB, I got a response saying that they were issuing a refund to my CC. Of course, that has not yet happened either. I am filing with my credit card company tonight. (Oh, they also had the nerve to say that my candy was in stock and could be shipped immediately if I cared to reorder. I responded, and said to go ahead and ship the candy to me, since they never processed the refund. Of course, I have no candy and no refund!)
They have some of the best bulk candy prices on the internet, but I guess you can put any price you want to, when you don't actually SHIP any of it out.
Save yourself time and grief - pay a little extra, and do business with a company who actually cares about your business, and even better, actually ships the products you pay for! "
"I ordered two cases of imported candy from this company. They charged me and never sent the product. I have emailed at least ten times and have tried to call but the voicemail is always full. I would not do business with this company, especially since there are many other candy sites on the web."
"I placed an order with Ebulkcandy.com on August 8, 2005. After emailing several times, they finally sent a partial order after three weeks. Since then, they won't answer emails or answer the phone. The phone answering machine says it is full, so I can't leave a message. It is now over a month, and it doesn't look like I will ever get the rest of my order, but they have my money for it. I will give this store the lowest rating.

"My story is the same as the other reviews- they had no problem taking my money and I never received my order! This is a joke- how do these people stay in business? I e-mailed, phoned (eventually the voicemail was full) and faxed them. I have filed a complaint with PayPal who said that I won my complaint but there are no funds in their account to give me a refund. I don't understand how they can stay in business. They e-mailed me back: You won your PayPal complaint so there you go. Basically laughing at me! I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. "
"I received my order within 2 days and it was exactly as ordered."
"Went to order some candy for my girlfriend, placed an order, they were real quick about taking the money out of my CC, but did not provide me with an invoice number or a tracking number at all. Muiltiple emails went unanswered. emailed both emails I could find, they went unanswered. 2 weeks later, recieved a response from 'Anna' wanting to know what my invoice number was so they could track the package.
Durf.
A. I emailed about an invoice.
B. Don't they have that on file? tracking numbers? invoice numbers? addrsses? email contacts?
Tried to contact them over the phone, it was a cell phone number, stating that the voice mailbox was full.
Gave them 72 hours to respond with an email stating to refund my CC. They did not answer. Got PayPal involved, and they refunded my money right away.
Don't do business with them."
"I got part of my order and NO response to my emails. The package arrived by regular mail and not UPS ground so it took 11 days--and then was not even complete! Poor customer service!"
"This place is the biggest set of cheats I have ever encountered. I ordered and they shipped the wrong stuff. I returned (have the mail receipt that they received it). Still waiting for the right product or HA! a refund after 5 months. Candy was ordered for a serviceman in Iraq. Got one email reply and it was really smartass. I am hauling them into small claims court in my city and filing complaints with US Postal Service and the DA in Allentown, PA and Trenton, NJ where there facilities seem to be located. No wonder they are not members of the BBB."
"Never shipped product.
Promised full refund.
Waiting for 3 months still no refund.
This company fails to answer emails, faxes, or voicemail unless you are placing an order."
"I requested a rush order telling them that I did not want the order if it could not be delivered within 3 days. My message was very specific. They sent aa reply asking for credit card information and billing address. (I erroneously assumed that meant they could meet the shipment delivery requirements). Very late on the 2nd day I received a message saying they were out of one of the items I requested and did I want to back order. Since it was then obvious to me that they would not meet my delivery schedule of the next day I canceled the entire order. They had already billed my credit card! I have been trying to get a credit for $431.44 ever since. There have been no response to my repeated phone calls and several e-mails. "
"My Order Was Delivered Quickly with No Problems. I Will Order Again."
"This transaction was a real nightmare. The almonds arrived on July 7, the wrong color. Karen (ebulkcandy employee) emailed me the address to return the almonds (MY EXPENSE, even though their ad says differently) which I did immediately. After informing them once again of the correct order, I waited patiently until the asked-for delivery date of July 20 (with a wedding on July 24). Repeated emails were ignored. No one answered the phone and their voice mailbox was continuously full for over 24 hours. Finally an answer came that the almonds would arrive on the 23rd. No almonds. An email on the 23rd offered to have them arrive on the morning of the 24th. They came. Wrong color."
"I ordered $14.00 worth of nuts on 2/2/2004. I mailed ebulkcandy a check with a copy of the order which they cashed on Feb 11, 2004. I never saw my aorder, nor did they answer a followup message I sent on March 6th. In 4 words, I was ripped off."
