"Just received my PC yesterday and I only ordered it about a week ago. Extremely satisfied with the whole experience. Had a bunch of questions before I ordered and Mike answered them very quickly(I mean within minutes of emailing them). PC came in perfect condition. Wiring job was really well done and the desktop runs like a champ. Also some of the best customer service I have ever gotten from an online retailer. Can't really comment on what their customer service is like for repairs as my computer came in tip top shape but i'm sure its great. Would definitely buy from them again. Thanks Mike and Ecollegepc!"
"fantastic customer service. Mike answered all questions i had, via email, usually within a few minutes. Very helpful. Ordered custom built PC and received it 8 days later. Everything was in great working condition when I received it. All components not specifically ordered by me (Hard drive, RAM, DVD Drive) were high quality. Very pleased with service. Highly recommended retailer!"
"I've helped two friends order computers from eCollegePC. I set both of them up and was extremely pleased with both. The real test of a company is when things don't go perfectly. eCollegePC passed with flying colors. When I pressed the power button on the second computer, nothing happened. Several attempts using a different power cord and different outlet were fruitless. I emailed Mike at eCollegePC that I thought the power supply was bad, but would wait to mess with it until I heard from him. Within 15 minutes Mike responded that I should go ahead and check the power supply. My tester showed that it was indeed bad. I had a couple of extra 500 watt power supplies from a deal at Newegg and he said I should go ahead and install one. Once I did the computer was perfect. Mike sent a return label for the bad supply, but credited my account for it within minutes before even receiving the bad one. We had the computer up and running within 1/2 hour of my first email. Try to get THAT kind of customer service from an OEM company!!"
"Ordered from eCollegePC 2 month ago, love the way you can select your custom machine, got a super fast machine. Had a video glitch / lock up, Mike advised on how to test ram (on board video) it checked good, downloaded lastest Intel drivers and no more problems. I will definately look at purchasing from them again. Great shipping also."
"Great site! Got my PC 9 days after ordering it and for my first custom built PC I am very satisfied. The wires are tied neatly away from the fans, everything seemed professionally built!"
"I don't keep orders, etc. You CAN go to Ebay and seaerch for item 380288574629 and you will see my name , renaldo9582 as the buyer . So glad I bought from ecollegePC. Their product, service and speed was top-drawer. Excellent patience and commo with an old guy who is barely computer savvy. The machine is better than I had hoped for and I KNOW that should I need help, Mike and his crew will be there for me. I most definitely will buy my next computer from ecollegePC. AAAAA+++++

"I found these builders by asking around the forum at virtualdr.com. I'd been frustrated by all the flashy sites offering computers that looked like space ships. eCollegePC has a simple order form,
allowing total flexibility in choosing components.
Their price was unequalled anywhere; free shipping
included. I phoned Mike, just to have a brief chat, and then I made my order. He offered several free upgrades for things that weren't in his inventory. It took about two weeks from order to my receipt of a carefully packed box containing a beautiful Win7 PC. There were no 30 day trials of Norton Anti-venom, no junk software. I'd recommend these guys to anyone, anytime. My only suggestion might be that they drop an e-mail to
their customers at about a week after order time.
Some people get nervous. Otherwise, communication was excellent. Aftermarket support, also very good, though I haven't needed much in the way of
help. I had a few questions. A quadruple plus for eCollegePC.

"eCollege PC offers great pricing and very fast shipping. They are really tough to beat IMO. Don’t mistake their inexpensive machines to mean that they are cheaply built. I was mainly looking for value, and I feel like I got that with eCollegePC. I got a well-built computer, with name brand parts, all at a great price. Their support is mostly email based, but it is surprisingly efficient and effective. They also have a phone number, but thus far I have had no need to call. I contacted them a few times both pre & post purchase, and generally get very fast responses to my questions. I feel they work hard to make sure you are a satisfied customer.
Highlights:
- Great pricing
- Three year warranty now standard
- Extremely fast order-to-arrival time. I placed the order Thursday for a custom build, and had the PC on Tuesday. This is the fastest turnaround time I have ever experienced in all the PCs I have purchased from any vendors.
-Responsive and knowledgeable support
- Website easy to use and has just the right amount of options to choose from without overwhelming you
I have only had the PC a week, so I will update this review if anything changes, but smooth sailing so far. I highly recommend them.

"I purchased a new PC with Window 7 OS from the store. Not only did we have a smooth communication, but also the store provided me with timely reponse, professional advices and services. I will say, this store is a trusted seller. I highly recommend this store to all who are looking for a new PC."
"I have been purchasing PC's from ecollegePC for over 2 years now and they are the best. They are very efficient, I get my invoices within an hour of emailing them for re-orders, and most importantly... I get my products 3 days later and to top it all off they ship it for free.
I would recommend ECollegePC, to anyone especially a business, because they run there website like a fortune 500 business should. Much faster than Dell, HP, or IBM. They are also the fastest PC sellers on Ebay.
Thanks and God bless you all,
John"
"I had been browsing the major custom rig sites for about six months when I finally decided to lay out the cash for a gaming computer. I had actually emailed Mike in the past with questions and he was quick to respond, even though I was not yet even a paying customer, which was impressive.
I placed my order on September 22, modified it on September 23 (to upgrade to the $19 professional wiring package after reading about poor workmanship on this site), and the machine left the eCollegePC warehouse on September 27. It arrived on September 30, although the video card was DOA (not eCollege's fault). Mike and I emailed back and forth a few times (very quick responses) and he sent me a return label to send the video card back. The new card arrived a few days ago and I could not be happier. I have already recommended some of my friends.
Pros: I priced out all the parts of my machine from newegg to build myself and it was actually cheaper for me to use eCollegePC.com. Affordable 3 year warranty.
Cons: Having to pay $20 for "professional" wiring. While I was very impressed with the professional wiring package, I did not want to take the chance with standard wiring after reading other reviews on resellerratings. If you're spending $1500+ on a machine, little things like that should be thrown in for free.
Overall, I would buy from eCollegePC again."
"While the prices and speed of service are excellent at ecollegepc, the quality is absolutely horrid. If you choose to get a pc from them, just go in knowing that there is absolutely no cable management at all. You can expect the wires not to get in the way of your fans, and that's about it.
Some of the highlights:
- My case comes with a 2 fan controller and temp gauge for the HD's and CPU. The CPU temp gauge was in the same place as the Hard Drives! Also, for extra fun they hooked up both fans to just 1 fan controller. So the other knob doesn't do anything at all.
- The front USB cable was literally touching the GPU and actually snug against it. It was wired in such a way that the GPU couldn't be removed without first unhooking the front USB cable.
- Like almost all modern cases, mine has room to run cables behind the motherboard. Not surprisingly, ecollegepc did not run cables back there at all. All of the cables coming from the power supply simply wrap around the motherboard.
In conclusion, I'm not saying that you should never purchase from ecollegepc, but I am saying just know what you're getting in to. If you care about airflow at all, plan on taking your PC apart and putting it back together again."
"The best customer service I have ever had! Great computer intel core i7 860 quad-core. Service and price can't be beat. "MIKE" is GREAT to deal with and had answers to emails in minutes.I have sent several freinds to Mike and they have all been very happy with him and his products.
"THANKS ****@****""
"I think I shopped every major computer builder everyday for a month straight before I decided on eCollegePC. My last two computers were build by Cyberpower and although I had relatively few problems with them, the horror stories on their forums from verified customers and their warranty policy was a major conern. I ordered new years eve day and my computer arrived 9 days later. Packing was adequate and the computer was in very good shape out of the box with the exception of a small piece of plastic that was loose on the inside. Everything was solid and the computer works very well....windows 7 was pre-installed and all the drivers were updated by eCollegePC before it was shipped....They did an excellent job and I would definitely buy from them again. I did have one email with questions regarding my build go unanswered, but I had done enough research, that it didn't steer me away."
"After reviewing the ratings on various resellers from this site and others, I chose eCollegePC.com over IBuyPower.com and CyberPowerPC.com.
I ordered my system on Dec 23rd and received it on Dec 29th (very fast shipping for standard shipping from a reseller in my experience).
The PC came packaged well, with all components installed correctly and professionally (some other resellers charge extra for this). The computer booted right up, and past every test and installation I made on it.
So far, it's been a terrific purchase and I would order from them again. I will edit this review if anything changes."
A rep from eCollegePC, ecollegepc, has responded:
“We want to appologize for the wiring on your computer. We have made changes to our quality control and are now neatly tying up all wires. We also offer a option for wires to be ran behind the case on cases that allow for this. If you have any problems or questions please email us at sales@ecollegepc.com”
