"On July 24, 2020 I ordered a $300 fan from eComfort. I had a problem completing the checkout process on their website, it failed with an error the first time. I went through the process again and order my fan successfully. They were quick to ship, item shipped on July 25 and was delivered on July 31.
The problem starts with eComfort not sending an order confirmation email... On July 31, I received two fans not one! I immediately submitted an online inquiry to them but got no response. On August 5, I submitted another inquiry and this one was answered on August 6. Jasmin indicated that I could return the second fan but there may be a restocking fee. Since it was shipped directly from the manufacturer, she would have to contact them.
August 30, still no followup from Jasmin so I email them again. She replies on August 31 with an RMA and email stating that I have to pay return shipping! This is a 20lb. box measuring 23x20x12 so about $42 with insurance. Why am I paying return shipping for an item that I didn't order???

"I ordered an air conditioning unit May 11, 2020. The unit came it was the wrong unit. Had to send it back and order another unit. It took 10 days for the company to pick up the first unit and another 10 days to get the refund to the credit card. The second unit came wrong unit again!!!!! Had to purchase a third unit!!!! Took 10 days to pick up the second unit and have still not received the refund for that unit. The 3rd unit finally came without all the parts!!! Today is July 7, 2020 and I still do not have all the parts!!!! THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS COMPANY!!!!! Please do not purchase from this company."

"I purchased a ductless mini-split air conditioner from eComfort.com after about a month of research and quotes from local HVAC companies. I purchased a system at the best price I could find, online, without engaging anyone from eComfort.com. I bought my system on the Tuesday before Labor Day and it was delivered the Wednesday after Labor Day.
eComfort.com had given me very clear instructions on how to handle damage during shipment prior to receiving my order, so I felt prepared to handle this scenario, and knew it was an important step to handle properly.
My system came on a pallet, complete and undamaged. I was able to contact a local HVAC company and have it installed professionally for under $1000. The combination of purchasing through eComfort.com and installation was less than half the quote I'd received to have a similar system installed by a local HVAC company.
I cannot speak to the concerns of others that have had problems with their customer service after shipping damage, but my experience with eComfort.com was outstanding. I would definitely purchase from eComfort.com in the future and recommend others do the same. My online experience with them not only saved me money, but allowed me to get an LG mini-split that is not available to me locally. Outstanding!
