"The item that I purchased showed up in a reasonable amount of time, and it works as advertized. The only caveat to the otherwise decent experience that I had doing business with these folks comes down to the inability on their part to provide accurate tracking information. It appears that the DHL tracking information they included in the shipping confirmation e-mail was either falsified or just plain wrong, because it didn’t work when I tried to use it on DHL’s site directly. And given that UPS had no information about the package after DHL allegedly handed it over to them, I was left with no way of knowing if it was really on its way. Also of interest is the fact that the URL they provided to DHL’s tracking page was not the same one that I got by going there myself. It sort of clears up why

I’m not an impatient fellow. I have no problem whatsoever with waiting however long it’s going to take for a package to arrive. I’ve ordered from overseas sites that have taken upwards of a month to get my package out to my home. In spite of what the song says, the waiting really isn’t the hardest part. It’s just that when I spend any amount of money on something online, I enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing that what I paid for is making its way to me in the first place. Everything turned out okay this time, but not being able to reliably track my package leaves me wary of doing business with Eforcity again. Especially after reading the many negative reviews that allege that packages ordered never ended up arriving at all. Their low prices just aren’t worth the uncertainty that what I order will ever get to me. If you anything like me, you’ll want to think twice about doing business with these folks.

Oh, there’s just one last minor issue to consider. If you should e-mail these folks with a question or concern, you will most likely receive a canned response in return. One that will be unlikely to even remotely address what you’ve e-mailed them about. For example, I e-mailed them to ask for help tracking my package, and I got a canned e-mail in response informing me of their estimated 4-10 day shipping schedule. That was absolutely not the information that I was looking for. However my package actually showed up the same day that I had e-mailed them, so I responded to Eforcity letting them know that while the information they provided totally failed to address my concern, the matter had been made moot by the fact that my package had shown up that day. They responded to that e-mail asking me to be more patient, and to e-mail them back if the package still hadn’t arrived after ten days had passed. Uh, what? Do these folks even read e-mails before they respond to them?

Now my issue was minor, granted, but that doesn’t give me any faith in the company to properly address a major concern with any proficiency, which is another reason why I’ll be wary of doing business with them again in the future. Take that as you will.
