"i recently purchased a tablet from them that the charger was broke tried to contact them but with basically no response paid extra for a warranty and for a extended run time battery that eglobal wireless says will be needed if the tablet is not plugged in to a outlet which they do not disclose on there website. i filed a case with paypal and also the bbb in florida against them. they want to give a refund for tablet only minus 25% restocking fee, apparently they do not no it is illegal to charge a restocking fee for a defective item. now i will be researching to see where else i can file a claim against them gonna make them sorry they ever stiffed me"
"I am just another victim of this illegal company.
I received the same defective 7" netbook that everyone else did.
I purchased the netbook for $79.99, open box. I received the wonderful sales call offering other items to go with the machine like a sd card, longer adapter cord, battery upgrade, and netbook cover all for the low price of $40. Which I stupidly purchased all the above. I, also, got the extended 2 year warranty for $14.99.
First, the order did not include the adapter/charger. When I finally did receive that, I found out it takes the machine 10 minutes to start up and then that it cannot connect to the web. The online sales support person told me to return the item since it doesn't work.
I put the total purchase price of everything listed above on my credit card, plus $2.90 fast service and $5.00 shipping, for a total of $141.89. I received my so-called refund today of $59.99. There was the famous 25% re-stock/re-sell fee taken out, just so that they can re-stock/re-sell the very same item to the next unsuspecting customer and get more money off of them. Then, they do not refund the price of the warranty, although why I need to pay for a warranty on an item I gave back to them, I have no idea. Plus, they do not refund any items purchased over the phone, even though I returned all of those items to them and they will just wind up re-selling those items to the next customer while still charging me for them.
I have contacted the BBB, the consumer protection agency, and the internet fraud unit, although I do not expect any result. I still owe $81.90, plus the $10 it took to ship the items back to these rip-offs.
I did contact my credit card company and I am REALLY hoping they take care of this, I am on a fixed income and cannot afford to hand money out to THIEVES! And that is exactly what this company is, a den of THIEVES! Definition: someone who takes something for nothing. The internet fraud unit referred me to my state's attorney general. I am waiting on them and my credit card company, I'll let everyone know what happens.
After contacting the BBB, the company lowered the re-stocking fee from 25% to 10%, should I bow down now?"
"This place is a joke, do not order from them. They will take your money and will not refund it. Double charged my cc 2 weeks apart. Now filing an unathorize charge and contacting the authorities in Boca Raton, Florida. Never ordered from them, do you research before you buy from them. They also have an ebay account under eglobalwireless (Watch out, they are scam artists) "
