"Paid over $300 for a 12 month subscription because you can’t see the profiles otherwise. I have had one date over 9 months. The matches are often thousands of miles away or live in other countries. Even the few people are in the same area have no common intrests. I have contacted customer service over a over and they just send me instructions how to change my preferences. Do Not spend money on eharmony. I have had multiple dates on the free apps. Not worth time or money. "
"Worst experience ever. They have renewed for a 500$ my subscription while I had already asked to cancel any automatic renewal. They are willing though to delete my profile and keep all of my money for the all next year. I had a total of 3 matches, lost money and any respect for this company ! I do not recommend to anyone. "
"As a Canadian, I joined Eharmony and Elite Singles at the same time. Two months later I had 37 matches from Elite and 7 from Eharmony. Of these seven, 3 were living in the US and with Covid-19 restrictions no contact was possible, 3 had no photos and almost no profile and one was 5 years younger than me. After writing personal inquiries to their customer service, I received stock answers and no help and no refund. In fact, they never answered my last inquiry. On the other hand, Elite Singles has been excellent."
"My husband had passed away recently and my sister encouraged me to sign up for Eharmony. Within 20 minutes after giving them my credit card info, I contacted them and told them I wanted to cancel this service....that I wasn't ready for online dating. Even though they have a 3 day free cancellation policy, they wouldn't refund my money or cancel my service. I've contacted them numerous times since because the 'so called' matches are a joke - people who live hours away; people who look like they're on welfare etc. They refused again.
It's definitely not a company I respect or would recommend to anyone. Stay away!! They're just out to take your money."
"I am very dissatisfied with their service. First of all, the signup process is very confusing. They make you believe that you are signing up for 3 months, after you signed you they will keep taking payments every 3 months for one year, whether you like it or not. when I called them to cancel my subscription they said it was for one year and I told them I would like to cancel the remainder of the term because I only signed out for 3 months. Guess what, they refused to let me cancel and kept taking my money every three months, and I was not able to search or matches, or sent messages on their app, yet I was being forced to pay. They said I still have to pay for the rest of the terms (9 months) left, which is $65.70 every three months.
They are only in for the money and not your search for love. Please stay away from them if you want to be happy and not waste your hard earned money.

"I don't suggest eHarmony to anyone! Do not waste your time, especially your money! If you sign-up as a regular user, you can't see anyone's pictures because they're purposefully blurred and you can only message someone once. However, if you'd like to pay, you will be LOCKED-IN on a 6 MONTH contract. I tried cancelling only after 2 days, realizing I wasn't a huge fan of this website and nope, you're permanently locked in for 6 months, having to pay over 200 dollars. I read the "Terms & Agreements" and it stated that if you're not satisfied then there is a 3-Day Cancellation method if you e-mail this certain address and they will cancel your account without having to pay. I e-mailed them explaining my issue and the 3-Day cancellation method but they e-mailed me back basically saying it **** to be me, that the 3-Day Cancellation method doesn't apply where I live, only in certain states. I was furious. They wished me luck and basically told me to be on my way...that they wouldn't do anything for me. So now I'm paying close to 200 dollars for something that I'm completely dissatisfied about, absolutely ridiculous. I told them that I'll be going on every social media platform and warning everyone of their lack of satisfaction to their customers and their fraudulent practices and they didn't seem to care. Absolutely disgusting behavior and a terrible website. Do NOT sign up."
"EHarmony is a full known scam, profiles are not real, nobody is willing to meet in person and the reason is simple, people are not real."
"Oh my, words don’t even explain literally how bad of a site eHarmony really is! If you want to waste your money, have no chance of getting your money back and be underwhelmed, this is the perfect site for you. Most of my matches were like 200+ kilometres away and that defeats the purpose because I was looking to date and get married in my hometown. You can’t even filter out the ones you don’t like so instead, you have to scroll down through all the ones you passed on! Customer support is literally a joke. I emailed them after 20 minutes of signing up because I hated it so much. Customer support (online robot) then decided to deny my request for a refund for no good reason even though I was still within the 3 days. I even tried to phone not one, but two phone numbers and both were fake. I am warning you with all my heart not to fall for this shenanigan. You will be very unhappy and you will get NOTHING for your money but misery.
"
"I would never recommend this dating site to anybody I'm 49 years old and they keep trying to set me up with 62 63, 65 year old people. I also told them I wasn't happy and I want my money back and they wouldn't actually give me my money back or refund my money or stop the payments so no I wouldn't suggest this dating site to anybody
"
"eHarmony is a complete waste of money. They say they can find your match and all their ads are just lies. I signed up for a 3 month subscription hoping to find someone because I thought maybe a paid site would be better than the free ones (was I totally wrong). 2 and a half months in and I haven't received a single message or reply back to ones I've sent. This site is a total scam praying on the desperate single hoping to find love. I would suggest to anyone out there either try the free sites or any other pay site if you are single and looking for love. Also if you are reading the review don't trust the 5 star rates because they are probably all made up by eHarmony to get a better rating."
"I am into the second month with eharmony. I haven't received any messages let alone dates. The same people keep coming up when I review the list.
Now you could say its me that's not attractive to the opposite ****, I am on another date site and have met tons of people. I would not do this again for it is a waste of time and money. Perhaps its not for seniours however they encourage it. Its like they aren't even trying to find people in your own area. I get people from the US and I'm Canadian. Its a rip off! I have cancelled however I still have 2 months left on my purchase. I'm sorry I signed up for 3 months!
"
"I signed up for 3 months, and hardly received any matches after the first 3 days. After that, there were few/no matches or visitors. eHarmony pretends that they have many eligible members in the city of Winnipeg, but clearly, they do not have enough members. They should not be providing online dating service if they don't have enough subscribers. I paid their high membership fees but they didn't provide the service that they are supposed to. I asked for refund, and they refused. This is how they make money. They shouldn't be allowed to run online dating business. "
"My boyfriend of two and a half years and I are proof that eHarmony works and is worth every penny! We actually grew up in the same town and attended the same high school, but never crossed paths until eHarmony. I recommend this dating service to everyone who is single and open to the idea of posting a profile online. The initial survey is very thorough and full of questions you would not necessarily think would matter in finding a mate but each one leads you to 'the one.'"
"I found the love of my life with eHarmony!"
"I met someone special through e-harmony. Thank you!"
