"After contacting the technical support person at Campbell Hausfeld, I was told the horrible clanking noise my compressor was making was caused by a defective compressor pump. I ordered and received the new pump and proceeded to make repairs. To my surprise, I discovered the flywheel was loose and had almost come off of the pump. I placed the flywheel in its accurate location and tightened the attaching bolt and after restarting the compressor the noise was gone. Now, I am debating whether I should keep or return the pump which is still in the shipping carton or keep it in the event the noise should return."

I work at a Safeway grocery store in Northern California, where we get heavy snow in winter. The road sand and salt in the breezeways has destroyed countless vaccum cleaners. I found a Hoover Commercial CH53005 Task Vac Lightweight in great condition for a very reasonable price. It has been performing great, but I occasionally have to unplug the upper hose when someone **** up a cloth sanitizing wipe.
To avoid any delays, I purchased an alternate hose from eReplacementparts.com, to switch out the hose, so I can unplug it carefully without time constraints. This has been very helpful.
