"Nice attempt at a bait'n switch on a Sony NP-FW50 battery which showed in stock when I ordered.

The price showed at $39.99 which is a good $15 less than other retailers. A few days after placing the order, I get an email and a voice mail asking me to call due to a problem with the order.

When I called back, I was advised that the battery is on a 3-5 week back order (even though as of writing this review, 10-Mar-11, the battery still shows in stock). But, they have this other amazing Vivitar battery which they would graciously substitute for the same price. Nice try folks!

The generic Vivitar battery is of course much cheaper at other retailers. I was half expecting something fishy when I saw the low price, so I used a temporary credit card number which I simply canceled after eStoreVilla attempted this scam.

Stay away as in the best case it is a waste of your time, in the worst case they have your credit card number.
