"I ordered a SEIKO Men's Automatic Stainless Steel [SNK809K] Stainless Steel watch on 11/20/2011. This watch seems to be not from SEIKO, the brand I trust. It is always slow couple minutes every two or three days. I have to adjust it at least twice a week to make it accurate. I didn't try to return it though, so I have no idea how difficult it would be.

Personally, I will not shop any watch from this site.

"I too decided to ignore the bad reviews and order a watch from ewatches.com, on Feb 7, 2011. I had many to choose from in my price range, but I found an attractive Pulsar ladies watch for 39.99, with free shipping. They claimed the "retail" price was much higher (I don't remember the price now), and in fact Amazon.com's price for the identical watch was much closer to the retail price.

Later that same day I received an email telling me that the watch was scheduled for shipment. I received another email, the same day, telling me it was shipped.

Two days later I received the watch. The watch I received was the correct watch - the one I ordered. It was in excellent condition, obviously brand new and well transported.

I will have no hesitation to buy a watch again at eWatches.com, should the need arise.

I just learned today that eWatches sends a cautionary email when you access your account (which I did to assist in writing this review). I think that's great! If somebody hacks my account in theory I will receive an email which I can investigate. If I access the account myself I can just delete the email and move on. That's integrity!

"DO NOT shop at ewatches.com!! I purchased a watch that arrived in a little less than a week and it was not at all what I expected. I followed the directions to return the item and sent it UPS. Ewatches received the watch on December 3rd and as of December 27th, I have STILL not recieved my refund!! The prices are good, the web site is nice, but if you need to return an item don't believe their "Hassle free return policy." Sure, they won't hassle you to return the item but it will sure be a hassle to receive your refund."

"E watches sent me a defective watch. I had the watch adjusted and then I realized that it did not keep good time so I bought a new battery and it still didn't work now I want a complete refund and they said no they are repairing it. That is not a new watch if they have to repair it. I want my money. Stay away from Ewatches there products are terrible."

"Despite the "bad" reviews for this site, other review sites had some positive reports. Purchased a Tissot "T Touch" watch for an acceptable price; some other sites may have been
a few dollars less but ewatches advertises the manufacturers warranty which was the main factor.

Ordered on a Thursday; received via UPS Ground (free) on Tuesday. They even provided sizing the watch (which I had to adjust - could not tell if it was my bad measurement or they missed the mark).

Good price; mfg warranty; fast delivery.

"eWatches runs scam promotions - be careful. They run contests that allow you to purchase watches at a special price. They tell you that you have won, charge your credit card then tells you that someone else actually has won but you can buy the watch at full price, gee thanks.

If they are this unethical, I have to wonder about the authenticity of the watches they sell. I have made purchases from them before, but never again. I am going to have to more closely inspect the watches I have already purchased.
