"I purchased a Bose Sound system a couple of years ago, and the battery has died. Can't even PAY to get it replaced - just get told, "it's out of warranty" - I'm not even ASKING for a warranty replacement?? SO, be warned - you can't even PAY these clowns for some decent service! Very poor. I'll be taking this up with the ACCC - as they seem to forget they have obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act."
"Purchased a phone from eGlobal last month and it arrived not working. Sent it back but after a month and much correspondence they claim that it now works and needed a hard reset. Don't trust these guys. Might be cheap but if anything goes wrong you're in for a horrid time of trying to get your money back or getting any service."
"I bought a camera with an intermittent fault. It does not allow the camera to connect to my phone (which it designed to do) or to a computer (also designed to do as there is corresponding software for editing on the computer) (significant !). Was told I could send it back unopened and unused for a full refund. Right! When I explained that I had to open it to discover it was faulty, I was told I could send it back at my own cost but that they were sure their technician would not find any fault and that they would send it back to me, again at my own cost. Clearly no point spending good money after bad so I will work around the fault (remove SD Card from camera - use an adaptor, download images to pc, and put SD card back in camera. Pretty crap, but hey.
I did however let them know that I was looking forward to sharing my experiences with other buyers. In future I will be less trusting of those positive reviews that say a company is warm and welcoming to warranty claims... If a reviewer only does one review or if the wording seems a bit off, I shall beware.
This was an expensive lesson, learned well!"
"Avoid these con artists at ALL costs, the minor savings are not worth it. You get ZERO support if anything goes wrong which is quite common in mobile devices.
My phone short circuited when I plugged it into charge, nearly leading to a fire. When I tried to claim this under warranty they told me they cannot honor a warranty on any device with damage and because the phone had scorch marks they wouldn't accept it, EVEN THOUGH THE SCORCHING WAS DUE TO THE MANUFACTURING FAULT!!!!!
I was dumbfounded, if your device breaks through no fault of your own they will not honor the warranty because the device is broken.....spend a moment to try and make sense of that.
Their after sale service is nothing short of disgusting."
"i purchased a product in November with a 1 year warranty, and 4 mth later, I'm told that a battery isn't a part of that product (even though it was in the box). the first time, a battery was considered an accessory covered for only 1 month. second time, I'm told that its a consumable that isn't covered at all. why would you deal with people who stand by their product to take your money, however when you call on them to honour it, they make up terms and conditions to suit themselves?"
"Ordered an Anker PowerCore which appeared to have been open and repackaged. Seals tampered with, plastic packaging inside box was CUT, USB not properly coiled as expected for a new product. When I called and emailed to ask and demand a refund, they informed me that they sometimes test the product before they send it and asked if I’ve tried the product and if it’s faulty. Regardless of whether it is faulty or not, why should they even test he product in the first place? Maybe it’s a return item or they suspected faults with it? Did not address my request for a refund. I emailed back to ask again, hopefully I’ll get a response"
"So look, bought a Smooth Q Gimbal and product doesn't charge. Have advised customer service and am now getting the famous eglobal run around. I'm not wasting my time or money returning the product because they are legendary in avoiding replacing or refunding defective product. I have written this off as a loss. Will never purchase from them again."
"For all potential EGlobaL Australia customers.
Just to let you know the warranty eGlobal provides supersedes the Vendor's warranty. So, if a product is covered for more than 12 months by its Vendor, dealing with eGlobal will chop it down to 12 months (according to eGlobal policy), regardless vendors like Sony providing you 2 years (and others providing even more). You'll be left dry, on your own, with no support from the vendor nor eGlobal in case you need. Sony Mobile refused to action the warranty as eGlobal is considered an importer, and gave me a lecture (they are happy to use a globalised world to make money, not that much when it comes to responsibilities).
I have a Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, and its camera is showing clear hardware related issues (lights and colours flickering), in the phone itself you can check support information provided by SONY, it says "Warranty Valid until: 15 Apr 2018".
Sony says "there's nothing they can do" as eGlobal is an "importer" and that means "you're not entitled to warranty in Australia".
eGlobal says "we offer 12 months warranty according to our policies".
I was left dry with a perfectly valid full cover warranty.
Hope none of you guys goes thru this frustration."
"I had a total awful experience with this company. I bought a Xiomi mobile phone for $180, which worked for a couple of weeks only. At same point the phone stopped charging suddenly. I was pretty surprised since I used it just indoor, using every precaution. Just thought they would have swap it for another one. First they asked me to pay the fee to send it back to them: first shock. Then they told me that the phone was water damaged and I should have paid $85 to fix it. My phone was not water damaged at all, I never exposed it to any liquid. I mean if it was I would have known, c'mon! And on top of that they asked me for an additional $20 to have it back. THEY ARE ABSOLUTE CRIMINALS!! Never ever buy from them. I'm disgusted, really. "
"DO NOT USE!!!!!! Worst company I've ever dealt with. Bought a mobile phone with them in March; the phone had an intermittent fault where it would just starting typing random letters all by itself and flittering between different screens. I took a video of the fault and emailed it to eGlobal, telling them I wanted a full refund. They told me I had to send them the phone for them to test. So, I sent them the phone, and for 3 weeks they argued that they could not find a fault. All this despite the fact that I sent them a video of the fault as proof.
They refused a refund for weeks, then eventually they said they would provide a refund less a $50 pick up fee, which I still don't even know what that refers to. I'm still arguing with them about it - why should I pay any more money when the phone is clearly faulty. They've had my phone for nearly 6 weeks now, and I am still no closer to a resolution, and have not had a phone in all that time.
I cannot stress this enough......DO NOT USE eGLOBAL - LITERALLY THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.
"
"Short story:
Bought my S7 Edge from eglobal in April 2016. In August the screen failed out of nowhere and it was sent back. They acknowledged the fault and the "repair" took 2 months. Got it back with a working screen but looked like it was installed by a 5-year old (lumpy screen), and it would stall every 20 seconds for about 6 seconds - in short, it didnt work.
Sent it back again in October, they acknowledged the fault after a month and said the repair would be another 2 months.
In January I started asking when it's finished.
It's now March and no replies other than the repetition of "sorry for the delay".
I was polite all the way through, but they just decided to pull the plug rather than fixing the problem. How convenient to sit in China and steal our money.
They are simple criminals hiding behind what appears at first to be a legitimate business.
The story does not end there. I will do anything in my power to damage their criminal business. They need to be shut down. Why are we just taking this?!?
There must be a way.
Stage 1: spread the word in every conceivable forum where people consider using them. Im on it. Please do the same.
EDIT 8/3/17: I keep getting the standard "sorry for the delay, your phone is still being repaired". They will be happy to continue this "communication" for another 6 months hoping I will give up.
But no - the war has just starting on this shameful, criminal business."
"Ordered a Samsung Note 7 from E-global. Unfortunately they dispatched the phone just before there was a world wide recall. Upon receiving the package, I promptly returned the unopened package to E-global after notifying them about the recall. Fortunately, I paid extra for Auto-tracking which showed E-global receiving the item.
For the next 4 weeks E-global tried their very best to delay repayment despite confirming they have received the item and that the phone was in its original condition. Despite writing to E-global on numerous occasions, they turned a deaf ear.
Fortunately, the product was purchased through PayPal, so I had no alternative but to involve Paypal, who was most helpful. Eventually, I managed to receive my money although, I did lose money for postage (both ways).
E-global is a Hong Kong based company with a com.au address, so DO NOT BE FOOLED."
"Got a Nexus 6p of Eglobal, it broke down within a month. Sent it back for repairs, 2 months later Eglobal said it can't be fixed. 3 Weeks later they offered a replacement of the same phone but different colour. (Not brand new but used). Enquired about warranty regarding that phone, they have ceased to reply. No news after 3 months.
1. Integrity of New Nexus 6p is questionable.
2. Bad after sales service. Totally irresponsible.
3. Most of their good reviews are due to them giving away voucher."
"Had to return my LG G4 for waranty repairs at my own cost. Took them ages to reply to any messages. After MANY back and forth messages they finally tried to replace my phone with a MASSIVE Samsung Note.
After not accepting and a lot of complaining, I finally got my phone back ""FIXED"" apparently! Only to have it completely stop working an hour later!!!! Worse than before!!!! I then had to comlete the very lengthy process of resubmitting the case and resending the Phone back. I have now been waiting for 3 and a half months! Without a phone!
I am currently still waiting to hear back! Hopefully they can refund me and fix this and i will update this review."
"Great service, extremely quick delivery, once stock is confirmed the product is literally on its way to its destination. An A++++++ Seller"
