Horrible Company

"I ordered $498 worth of Gooseneck Barn Lights. After the order was placed and my credit card charged, I received an email with a sales agreement that they wanted me to sign and initial several times. I didn't agree with the terms so I called to cancel. The company rep was extremely arrogant and continued to insult me.

Here's a quote from his follow up email:
"We will do angies list, yelp, google, and other blogs and will make sure that every person in a 120 mile radius of where you are located, it is very easy for anyone to set up many many many accounts and guess what, we do not rely on a radius around our area, we sell worldwide, 99.9 percent of our customers will never see you fake postings, BUT 78% of people do look at local reviews before hiring a contractor, so lets have fun"

They did refund the money and cancelled the order but this guy was out of line. I did nothing wrong except wanting to cancel because of their terms sent after the purchase.

The products from this merchant seems to be of the highest quality for the lowest price and I was pretty excited to try them out. Through the process of purchasing their LED Light Strips, it seemed that their process was very rigid... You must go through all the disclaimers and check all the boxes or your order won't go through. Definitely not a simple process, however I just thought these guys must deal with a lot of issues and this was just a way to be very thorough with their customers. Fine. No issues here. You then have to complete a digital signature via email before they will accept your order. Again, just a thorough process probably due to a lot of past issues. I had no problem up to this point. They then call to verify the order. I thought, how nice of them. But then I had a question regarding the tackiness of the adhesive for the LED Strip. I was quickly transferred to a "technician". This guy was extremely arrogant and continued to speak over me. Without listening to my question, he proceeded to tell me that all the information is on the website and if I am now just asking these questions after signing the waiver and all that it was a mistake. He continued to go round and round about how he didn't want to be made out to be a liar. This guy is horrible at customer service!! I'm not familiar with the LED strips and the adhesiveness of this product and just wanted to get a "professionals" opinion on their experience with the product. Have they seen issues with the adhesiveness? If so, in which way? What types of surface is best? What environments should I try avoid? What other kind of best practices or tips could I take to better my chances of having the product adhere appropriately? Those were my basic concerns.... He didn't even give me a chance to ask any of these questions. He was a total hot head and when I told him I didn't appreciate that every time I tried to ask a question, that he would just speak louder and speak over my question. He didn't like the fact that I called him out on how rude he was towards me that he cancelled my order immediately over the phone and hung up on me. This is a blessing in disguise and I'm so thankful he cancelled my order. No matter how great someone's product is, if I can't be confident in their customer service, I might as well be buying cheap crap from oversees because if there is an issue, my confidence that it will be resolved is zero to none. It's really a shame because I did think I was getting a good buy on quality products. But I would rather pay more money for a quality product that is backed up by great service!! Thanks hot headed technician for canceling my order. You saved me a great deal of headache in the future if I actually found myself in trouble with your product. There's no way I could expect your poor customer service skills to help me out.

UPDATE: May 5th 2015 - Since posting this review about the poor service of this company. They have now sent me harassing emails. Just another good reason to share and warn the public at large. This company is extremely unprofessional. They could have apologized for the poor service and I would have updated reflecting this. However they chose to send harassing emails instead. So glad I didn't use them.
