"I ordered a refurbished 32" ViewSonic LCD flatscreen listed as "in stock". They charged my credit card immediately and after 10 days did not see that it was shipped. I called on 9/19 and the customer service rep said it was shipped but didn't have much detail.

Aparently when it's shipped "freight" they can't track it very well (system needs to be improved). I spoke to a customer "manager" and we got into a shouting match. She also terminated my online access to check status of the order !

(9/24) The freight company delivered the item well packed/protected. So far the only thing I can see wrong with the TV is the "c" missing off the logo ("Viewsonic"). I also got a call from Adam @ etech as a follow up. I expressed my concerns about lack of customer service & communication.
I haven't turned on the TV yet, hopefully there are no problems, becase I can't see returning it at this point.

Bottom line, their prices are excellent, they need to improve communication/customer service (hire people that deal with customers better) and will wait until there's more history before using the site again. So if want the price and have patience, it's probably okay.

(9/29 update) I'm very happy with the product.
The HD picture is "outstanding" and the price was too low to believe. So low, in fact, that I worried about the legitimacy of the company. But so far so good."

"I ordered form these people even after reading this site. There were several very dissatisfied postings but the overwhelming majority were satisfied. After my experience I came back and reread several pages of them and noticed that most of the satisfied postings sound very similar and come in large groups within a day or two of each other... that seem strange to anyone else?

I ordered some Dell server drive blanks which their site claimed were new and in stock. A few days later I get an email stating that they only had one of the three I ordered, and it was used. The email was polite and offered me the one and a refund of the difference or just to cancel the order. I replied that I would like my order canceled. The next day I get another email stating that it would be taken care of immediately. Almost 2 weeks later I still have not gotten a refund and all my attempts at contacting this company are now going answered. Luckily I paid for this through my paypal account so I am disputing it there so I'll see what happens with that.

After reading this site and then actually ordering from these folks my advice to anyone would be to move on and look elsewhere. I am a web developer I understand a website can be wrong but it appears systematic, almost purposeful with these guys and even if it was an honest mistake why has it been so incredibly difficult so far to get my payment refunded?

With most other dissatisfied postings I've seen they will post a poorly written, apathetic form-letter sounding response somehow telling the customer that they didn't do enough to get their issue resolved. I guess the idea of customer service has been completely lost here somewhere so quick lesson: when you offer something you are expected to fulfill it, intentions don't matter, and ignoring someone just really makes them mad."
