"$145 pair of prescription glasses, frames broken after a few months, two emails and several calls to customer care. No response other than a pro forma "our team will review and get back to you" email. Phone calls are put on hold and then dropped after two minute wait time. Do not deal with this company."
"Never answering calls and emails. Awful customer service. Advertise frames that are obsolete and no stock."
"I ordered a pair of replacement frames for my son. He needed them ASAP, so I ordered and paid for next business day shipping. Here we are 3 days later. NO shipping confirmation. it is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of anyone. 4 emails and 2 voicemails sent with no response. I filed a dispute with my bank to try and get my money back. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!. "
"My glasses broke few months after purchased, and the warranty they cover is 50% in store credit for another glasses. So finally I had to spend more money in a new pair of glasses and I could only use this money in their website... This together with the terrible experience while buying my glasses makes me recommend NOT to ever buy from here."
"No customer service whatsoever!!! Placed an order on 07/25/2020, 15 days ago $860 lenses & frame. Credit card charged right away. No body answered the phone, no response for emails, no "Chat with us" responses. 4 days after order, the status on my order changed from "pending" to "back ordered" & still no communication, not even to notify me. A week later my order status changed to "in process".... ...whatever that means. No expected shipping date. I can't help wondering that this is a scam, wondering how to get my money back if it turns out to be the case."
"Do they have customer service?? Placed order 15 days ago $400 lenses & $150 frames. Invoice came quickly by email & no indication that discounts were applied for my vision insurance so I emailed right away (#1). Phone calls, voice messages & 7 emails later, NO RESPONSE FROM CUST SRVC. 4 days after order, the status on my order changed from "pending" to "back ordered" & still no communication, not even to notify me. New question on order...new email(#2). Phone calls, voice messages & emails (#3, 4 & & 5) Days 13-15 (#6 &7) my order status changed to "in process".... ...whatever that means. No expected shipping date. I just want to know if my insurance was applied to my purchase so we can resolve that if needed & when I can expect my glasses. Days 1-14, I was able to be patient, aggravated but still patient. Now...Not so much... Day 15 still no reply.
**Order# AV- 8014, JUN30, 2020, Subtotal: $546.00
**NOTE- My payment was processed within 48hrs."
" MFG Warranty is a LIE - No post purchase customer service available. Misleading descriptions of frame materials - in my instance, frames were "titanium" but not the bridge, which was the weakest point. Guess where the glasses broke? At the bridge, where it was the thinnest point. Never in my 15 years of wearing glasses has this happened, and I've been through many pairs of glasses. Had to escalate to BBB to even GET a response. They kept on pushing off the solution ("oh, it's the manufacturer's responsibility, here's their email"; "Oh, the manufacturer said to send it to us because we're supposed to take care of it"), so much nonsense until BBB just closed out the case. I'm out my money, shipping costs back to Eyeglasses.com AND to add insult to injury, I don't even have my original product. "
"It's been three weeks and order is still "processing." I believe (as others have noted here) that they do not stock any frames. These come from others vendors, and customers do not know when something is not in stock. In other words, the customer is the one left waiting and assumes all risk. No glasses yet... and somehow I've already been charged the full amount at the time of the order. "
"Got my frames in two days."
"Horrible service / phone communication . I choose a pair of frames along with the particle tinting + the bottom portion to be a 250 reader , this was the model on display at the eye glass shop ( don't recall name business) in the MGM Park Hotel , LasVegas , three visits to make sure that I really liked the frames.
Speaking with two different specilist w/regards to this product & confirming the design , I was given the product number & told that I must order on line , I did & was informed that I would receive within 7-10 days , ahhh more three+ weeks . I received the product however aside from the frames , they were completely WRONG , a full tint ( not particle as I requested) and the lense was the full reader , not particle to the lower non-tinted area. When I contacted Samantha see called me back , horrible attitude - told me that I was wrong , offered no solution , PLEASE UNDERSTAND I ordered the model number which I was given by two different store managers. I should have know better than to order such a product on line ! NEVER AGAIN . BTW, a local shop is making the corrections to these frames for a very fair price. Also I am a lifelong pro-photographer my eyewear is CRITICAL to my profession."
"I used to shop for both frames and lenses eyeglasses. com, but switched to only frames a few years ago when they were no longer able to provide high index lenses for my prescription. To be fair, it's really high, with astigmatism. But I still remember debating with the optometrist on staff a few years ago, who tried to convince me they were making "improvements" by not providing high index lenses anymore. The frames I originally bought in 2006 lasted a full ten years, so I think you get good quality for the price. And they do have a warranty to back up their products, though I haven't needed to test it out, and can't say whether this service is any good or not. so to reiterate, as long as you're just buying their frames, it's fine. Though I do wish they were a little more open about coupon codes on their website, since for the price, you really shouldn't have to look on RetailMeNot or similar sites just to get a discount."
"I did like the Puma frames very much except that I could not use them because the full frame splits in two so I have return them to you...
So i can get my refund
Thank you"
"My most recent purchase was to replace a frame I'd bought several years ago from eyeglasses.com, which I had accidentally broken. I was happy to go back to eyeglasses.com and buy an exact replacement for the frame I broke. I had been looking for round frames but could not find them in any of the store-front eyeglass places anywhere. Their inventory seemed to be limited to what was currently fashionable. I found exactly what I wanted at eyeglasses.com. I ended up buying two round frames in different sizes (always good to have a backup pair of glasses). And I was also able to get perfectly matching clip-on sunglasses for each frame."
"Love the new glasses, I had wanted a pair of big round John Lennon glasses and could not find them locally. When I discovered I had money left over in my FSA I looked at Eyeglasses.com and found them. I did have to go back to my local optomitrist to get a “pd measurement” but everything else was pretty easy. Love the new glasses!"
"Glasses frames were exactly what I was looking for and the price was right, but they arrived with a tiny chip along the edge of the right lens and the line of the bifocal on the left lens is rotated a small amount so that it’s not parallel to the horizon line."
