"I recently made a purchase from www.Func.net for two mouse pads on January 17, 2009: a custom Surface1030 Archetype, and a Func F-Series (F-10S-L). Total cost including shipping came to nearly $60.00 dollars.
The Surface 1030 Archetype pad I ordered was a custom order mouse pad; I ordered it with a logo on the bottom right corner of the pad. However, when I received the mouse pad, the logo was totally crooked and sloppy looking.
The Func F-Series (F-10S-L) pad I ordered and received was used. The mouse pad showed obvious signs of use/abuse on its surface as well some scratching and scuffing in areas.
I have contacted Func twice in the past month and a half via e-mail (****@****) to get this problem rectified, but have been ignored. I am extremely unhappy with their products and especially with their customer service. I reccomend that people stay away from this company at all costs.

"So I bought one of their custom mouse pads, the one where they print a jpg image on the front. I'm a little less than pleased with how it came out. The image itself was fine, it's just that actual mouse pad was slightly bent. For some reason it doesn't have the same elasticity as the unprinted f-series. The f-series has a rubber back which makes it kinda "floppy", the printed ones have a rubber back, but are rigid.
The pad did not come in a protective case like it's unprinted counter parts, so I guess it can easily get bent during shipping. Which means having a smooth level surface to move across is virtually impossible. If i had been using the pad for gaming I would have been severly aggrivated, so much so that I would have to buy a new pad. At 30 bucks a pop that's not cheap.
The reason this didn't ruin my experience with func, was because I've purchased their regular pads on more than one occasion and I really like them.
As for the store itself, they are OK in my opinion. It took a day or two for them to respond with a presales question, not a big deal, but for a small shop you'd think it be a little quicker. I didn't bother emailing them about the custom pad I ordered, it's possible they would have given me a refund, but who knows.
This sounds more negative than positive, that's really not the case. Func did send a shipping number on my items but it's not instant. Though I did order another pad and I did recieve a shipping number and invoice number right away, so it looks like they upgraded their policy.
As for the pads they are great and the company is pretty good too."
"Overall I've had the same experience as the previous post. I had a question before the order, and promptly got a response (the next day i believe. After the order i e-mailed their support addy and didn't get a response for 8 days. Not a huge complaint in my book, since it was just a mouse pad. Plus these people probably don't JUST do mouse pads.
I ordered on Jan 7th, and received a shipping notice on Mar 4th, so about the same shipping time as the previous post. fUnc did mention that they had a problem with their printing press, so that explains my delay. Overall, nothing that they didn't tell me right from the beginning (as far as ship time).
The pad came in, it's awesome, no complaints. Their little mouse clip dealiwhopper is godsend, I'm honestly surprised this isn't more prevalent (my desk setup likes to snag my mouse). The print quality looks to be right at the quality of the jpeg i put into their site, (which was pretty decent for a jpeg), everything lined up just like it did on their site as well. Colors matched and everything, but since i got a Ftype i don't have a second side to compare colors.
Even with the communication complaints i would still recommend this company to others. They WILL respond eventually, and they WILL deliver. And when they respond they are very polite and productive."
"I ordered my pad on the 19th of November, and didn't get it until today, the 3rd of January, so it took quite a while. I understand them being busy with the Holiday and all, but they failed to respond to two emails about the status of my order. When you place the order, you won't get any email for your order, which is something that should be remedied.
I had an issue formatting the design on my mousepad, so I emailed their support about it. In this case, however, they responded very quickly. I got a good response that same day.
The quality of the mousepad is awesome, though, I must say. I got a custom Archetype pad, and they print the design on both sides, which is cool. However, for some strange reason, I got the blue color that I chose on the one side, and a dark purple on the other. I don't mind it, they're both nice shades, but it is kind of strange.
Overall, due to the quality and customizability of fUnc's mousepads, I can't but recommend this company. Nobody out there offers a similar product. Though their support may not be the best, and some of their contact points could definitely be improved. Don't be afraid to go with this company. Their delivery may be a bit slow, but you will get your product.
Don't wait any longer, order yourself one of the coolest mousepads around!"
