"Tried to use it for legit medical services abroad, in a cheap country, so that my refund would be less than the cost of insurance, and they refuse to pay on the excuse that the itemization for services provided is not standardized. An insurance that promises to work anywhere should know that multiple administrations abroad will have different standards in reporting expenses. But this is a very convenient excuse not to pay my refund. So, another insurance that only walks with your money. Will never use again."
"I purchased travel coverage (for the first time) thru GeoBlue. I filed a claim online and was notified that I would receive $50 in coverage. I was mailed a check from GeoBlue and cashed the check. Everything was fine. A couple of days later Wells Fargo told me GeoBlue was not paying the check and took $50 out of my account. I was not notified by GeoBlue that the claim decision had been reversed. I called GeoBlue customer service to inquire and getting to that denial information was very challenging and took multiple phone calls. This was the first time that I purchased travel coverage and I have been absolutely raving about it (to my family and friends). You had acquired a customer (and probably multiple customers) for life (via an email marketing campaign that is probably the lowest cost advertising channel there is). Now, over $50, you have created the opposite result. I am sure the Claims team is high fiving in the break room but I imagine the Marketing team is weeping b/c they had a acquired a high value customer and now lost that over $50. I would be happy to speak to an executive at GeoBlue if they would like more information. "

"We placed a claim on our daughters luggage which included a prosthetic leg that was lost. In addition, her return flights home were canceled and delayed such that we had to purchase separate tickets on another airline in order to get her home within 13 hours of her originally scheduled arrival time, and none of it was covered. I feel like my money was not well spent and will not be purchasing Geo blue as a travel insurance option in the future.
