Disappointed

"I always use GeoTravel when I travel anywhere domestic or international. Unfortunately when I encountered a problem and I needed to finally use their compensation I was told I couldn’t use it meanwhile I had every right to because it was insured. Very disappointing to pay for something for so long and when finally I thought Geotravel would help I wasn’t. "

Very tough to get GeoBlue to pay our emergency medical travel claim

"After an accident in Belgium, GeoBlue approved an upgrade to Business on the return trip as my wife could not bend her knee. It took over 6 months and monthly calls to be reimbursed. On the upside they paid our claim. On the downside I think their plan is to delay, delay, delay any payment till you stop calling, so they don’t have to pay. "

Had GeoBlue Multitrip Coverage for a Few Years...

"Have never had to use it, but have traveled extensively several times /year throughout Europe and Central Asia. So my review is really only about the price and perceived value of the coverage. Hope I'll never actually use it. But it does provide security while I travel."

Very bummed that the insurance couldn't be used when we hit a deer with our car.

"We were not injured, but we bought extra insurance for our trip. I was under the impression that this insurance would cover travel interruption. However, when I called they said they couldn't help us because we were injured. Our trip was ruined when we totalled our car by hitting a deer. "

We never needed it

"You can't write a review if you haven't really used the product. I hope I never have to use it. I gave it four stars because the flexibility in types of coverage is appealing. Navigating the website was easy. And the insurance is backed by a stable company. (Don't buy insurance from Bob's Fly-by-Night Insurance--there are plenty of insurers out there that don't have the financial foundation this one does.) And it was recommended by friends who are seasoned travelers. "

Satisfied with coverage

"We used the coverage for a family of 5 on two week travel. My daughter got sick once and we contacted the Geoblue travel insurance via the app. We had a telemedicine call from a Doctor in the UK who gave us the advice and what to do next.

We were satisfied with the service and the ease of access as well as the cost. Will use again for future travel.
