"Ordered comcast HSI through Staples.com/Getconnected with a $130 promotion rebate. They denied my rebate.

"Thank you for your rebate inquiry. We have received your submission,
but we are currently unable to honor it because our records indicate the
purchase date was 10/21/06 and the promotion was only valid for
purchases made between 08/01/06 and 09/30/06. Our records indicate that your
purchase was made at Comcast and this promotion was only for purchases
at staples.com only."

"Big scam operation - charged me for a phone after I returned it for cancellation. (Did not even return the instrument and even worse they don't respond now)
Their fine print is written such that you cannot save yourself from "getting screwed" if you try their services and find it unsatisfactory.

"I got a Samsung cellphone with $50 rebate from getconnected.com. Despite fulfilling everything (must get monthly plan for at least $39.99, must be with Voicestream (now t-mobile) for at least 2 invoices...) I never received the $50 rebate. All their prices are advertised with the $50 rebate from getconnected.com that probably nobody gets. This is a scam outfit, stay away from them."
