"Really useless website. My package was not delivered because USPS delivered it. Long story short, they said I have to forfeit my money! never buy anything here! Never! I have actually been calling since monday. They kept telling me they would call me back. Never did. I actually even bought the glasses in November, early november"

"I ordered a Bvlgari frame just last Tuesday and they were already delivered this morning!! I love your service! I confess I had originally ordered this same frame through another on-line vendor and waited 5 weeks and still did not receive them and couldn't contact them due to bad phone number listed on the site and no response to my emails. I almost hestiated trying you fearless that you were another bogus site. I sure am glad I gave it another try. You have restored my faith on on-line purchases and a WOWed me with your quick service. "I ordered very simple progressive lenses from Glassesspot on October 2nd and was told it would take 1-2 weeks to receive my glasses. It is now October 18th and I still have not received my glasses and my order is stuck in "awaiting lenses" status. Every time I call customer service they tell me that the glasses will ship the following week. I am concerned that I will ever receive the glasses. In my opinion, it was not worth the savings and I should have just went to a local glasses company or Lenscrafter. I would have had my glasses by now. "

"I bought a pair of discontinued "Luxottica" glasses frames from glassesspot.com.

The package they sent arrived quickly and it included a nice case and very clear paperwork. So far, so good!

Unfortunately, and I want to be very clear this was entirely my mistake, the size of the frames was not a good fit for my existing progressive lenses, which I wanted to reuse. That is the kind of mistake that can cause a lot of back and forth with a seller, or just such a hassle that it may seem like more trouble to resolve than it is worth. I left the box on the drainboard of my kitchen, looking at it every few days, trying to figure out what to do. Finally I sent them an e-mail, more than three weeks after I received the product. Some sellers might complain about that, asking why the heck I didn't get back to them immediately.

Not glassesspot. When I e-mailed their response was immediate, friendly and totally professional. These people could teach lessons in Customer Service to most American Corporations. They are that good. They just said, please send it back, no problem.

And it wasn't. People talk about the Customer Service at Nordstroms as being the secret of that company's success. People feel so positive about how Nordstrom deals with a problem, that when they think about going shopping, Nordstroms immediately comes to mind.

Obviously glassesspot is a LOT smaller than Nordstroms, but having done business with both, I would rate GS as just as good. Or better. And I'm not joking.

I was impressed enough that I told them if they ever needed a letter of recommendation to let me know, so they said, well... you could send a review to resellerratings. I'm glad to do so. This is it.

"I loved working with GlassesSpot! Jake worked through any issue that I had to help create my glasses. The progressive lens are new to me, and I was worried about ordering them online. After giving all the feedback that was needed, they created them for me and they work great! They even went to the trouble to replace some scratched lenses for me in a pair of clip-ons. Nothing but good things to say. Thank you!"
