"This website is extremely unreliable. I had an adapter that I wanted to purchase from their website, the entire parts number was correct however it never stated there were two sizes in diameter for the actual adapter! They ended up sending me an adapter that was too small for my laptop. Although it worked fine for the first few weeks, after a while it ruined the battery on my laptop and my laptop doesn't charge anymore. THEN I realized the charger wasn't the right size!

I asked for a refund, however they told me to "Please use another power cable to try again." Not only did it stop charging my laptop, it kept charging and uncharging my laptop that now the battery is ruined.

Also I paid close to $40 including shipping for something that doesn't work!

"WARNING! DO NOT buy from this company. I purchased a battery for a motion computer from them. It took 3 weeks to get it and once it was discovered that the battery was bad, I contacted the company by email because they do not have a telephone. Their answer was for ME to send it back to China. They then stopped answering my emails and as of today have no intention of making their product right. WARNING!"

"We order an HP Envy 15 9-cell battery, they provided a tracking number for express mail, we realize after 3 weeks that the mail was coming from China to our address. We discover that our post office got the shipment but returned back due to wrong address.
We were ask to wait so they ship it back, they never ship it back and we have not got our paypal money back either.

We are still claiming to them but now they do not answer our claims as the did till last month. We will have to proceed to a legal claim for a reimburse as the product was not provided.

"I bought an adapter for my Toshiba Laptop. I specified exactly what I wanted and there was the item "available" on their web site. Two weeks later I received the wrong adapter, totally different type, does not even fit in my laptop. Total rip off, con artists, stay away. It costs too much to return it and chances are they pretend they never received it...and I decided to throw it away after I read all the remarks here. I should have checked before I bought it, I hope I save someone else the money I threw at them... Stay away."

"I order a spare laptop battery during last black Friday (2010) it was on sale but still it was around $90 bucks. I received an email from this company saying that it was going to take at least 2 weeks because it is a cross board business.

The tracking number that I received never changed, it looked like the package was kept and never sent. So, I after 3 weeks I started to ask them was going on. They said that the post office held all their packages without they knowing it.

Then the excuses were endless, they promised to send the package, then to send other package, then they were off a whole week because of a Chinese festival.

Paypal say this item does not qualify for dispute.

global-laptop-batteries does not answer my emails anymore they stole my money and wasted my time

Please don't be a victim these guys are thieves

"After three months, this 9 cell battery for my dell is not holding a charge. I sent two emails before getting a response. Today, this is the response:
Dear friend,
Thanks for your email or order very much.
Due to Chinese Spring Festival from January 29th, 2011 to Feb 10th,
2011, We can not reply you or arrange any delivery during this period.
Sorry for any inconvenience.

Of course it is from the infamous Robin Gan.

So, basically they cannot help me due to a holiday. Even though I contacted them BEFORE this holiday. I think this is a stall tactic. Meanwhile, my son cannot do his homework on his laptop. This is very frustrating. They will not get my business again. I will file a complaint with Paypal and post information on my blog about this company.


Absolutely ridiculous.

"orderd Sony Vaio battery on Dec 1. It's Jan 19. No battery, no responses to email. I suspect this company is a fraud - plain and simple. No shipping info. The invoice number is from Paypal. These guys gave me no order confirmation or status. Buyer beware!"

"This company is HORRIBLE!! Don't ever deal with them! I ordered a laptop battery on December 2, 2010 and it is now January 12, 2011 and still no battery! I emailed this Robin Gan nearly 3 weeks after ordering the part and was told that all packages from around this date had been sent to customs. Then another week passed and still no word so I emailed them again and was told that actually the items were in the Hong Kong Post. I mentioned that since I needed the battery and it was an issue on their end they should resend the part and I would return the first one if it ever came...they did not do this. They now emailed me yesterday 1/11/11 and said the item was returned to them and would I like it resent or refunded! I asked for a refund and ordered the battery from a US company (PS I had no idea it was not a US company when I ordered the part). Ordered from GetPartsOnline.com and the item was even cheaper! HOpefully this experience will be better and I will receive a refund!"

"I ordered an Acer Aspire One 8 cell laptop battery some weeks ago (20 December 2010), and received it a few days ago (5 January 2011). The battery appears to be charging correctly and hopefully it will perform as expected.

The explanation of the shipping procedure told me that I was to receive an e-mail with my order number and a link to a site where I could follow the shipping progress of the package. I did not receive the e-mail and did not receive any information concerning my order number.

Looking at the other reviews, I feel as if I've dodged a bullet. I will not order from this site again and will instead look for a shop I can actually go to in person (the company is located in Hongkong, China) in case something goes wrong or in case I wish a refund. I suggest you do the same if you feel the extra money is worth that certainty.

"Do NOT deal with this website. 7 to 15 business day delivery turns out to be about 2 months, if you ever get your product.

The so-called Robin Gan never seems to know anything precisely.

Search the web and buy your product at a closer location. Then you won't have to try and track your device on a poor chinese webpage...

"This company is HORRIBLE! Do not do business with them!! I purchased a laptop battery from them and within 4 months it died. They have a 1 year warranty policy. So I sent my dead battery back to them and waited for my exchange. They're located Asia, so it takes 1 month for shipping (another complaint). After 3 MONTHS, I contacted them and asked where my replacement was. They had completely forgotten about me. They said they would get a battery in the mail, but insisted I pay a 2nd shipping charge. Well, if they would have read their OWN warranty policy they'd see they say that they cover this shipping cost. Yet they refused. So I said fine, just refund my payment. Well, they refuse to do that as well! Now they have my payment and my battery. When I pointed out they are in violation of their own warranty policy they stopped responding to my emails. This is an EXTREMELY shady company. In many respects you could call it a scam. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!"

"I have been dealing with this firm since late January 2010.First and foremost nowhere it is mentioned that this firm is based in China. That should be a red flag.

I ordered and received a replacement battery for my son's laptop. It fits in well but does not get charged. When informed, Mr. Robin Gan (I assume owner) responded that it is software issue and sent me software, which did not work either. He agreed to refund the money and provided me a Return Merchant Authorization Number. I mailed back the battery on March 1, 2010.

After this I have sent 7 E-Mails and he has not responded to any of them. I think he gave the RMA only to get back the battery and cheat me out of my money. I plan to take this issue with my Credit Card Company and also BBB online which he touts on his web site.

HE IS A CROOK AND MUST BE AVOIDED AT ALL COST. THOSE WHO DEAL WITH HIM AT THEIE OWN RISK.

"The website does not tell you that this "company" is in China, and apparently run by 1 man.

He sent the wrong laptop AC adapter. When I informed him he asked me to send it to another customer for him. No doing- that's insane to even ask me.

Next he said that he would send the correct adapter, never did. After time went by and I pressured him, he tried to convince me that I had a package at the local post office. Had to ask him for tracking # 2-3 times; when he did provide it the tracking # was for the package that arrived with the wrong adapter.

At this point he tried to convince me to use the adapter, though Sony (laptop maker) said not to - not compatible. He still tried to convince me. Then he said that he would provide a refund upon confirmation of me shipping the adapter back to him. When I provided this, along with tracking # (even scanned the post office slips), he changed his tune that he would refund me when the package got to him.

I filed a chargeback with my credit card.
