"This was the second firearm I've purchased through Gunbuyer. Although I would generally recommend them and would buy from them again due to their very competitive prices and ease of online shopping, there were a few minor issues with my recent experience that could be improved.
First, it's great that they offer free shipping for all firearms. But what about if you want to purchase an extra magazine or other accessory with your new gun? Well, you'll be charged shipping for those extra items, and it's not cheap. Seems to me that if I'm spending hundreds of dollars on a gun and get free shipping with it, that should also extend to any other items I add to my purchase. (Ultimately, I decided to purchase my accessories elsewhere due to their shipping costs.)
My other issue is that they claim most guns ship within 1-3 business days. After seven business days my order still said "processing" so I contacted them via email to see what was up. They responded within about an hour that they didn't know why my order got "stuck" but that they would re-submit it for shipping and that it would ship later that day, which it did. So I'll just have to wait a little longer than expected to receive my gun. But what would have happened had I not contacted them? Would it have been stuck "processing" forever? Ideally, I shouldn't have to monitor my order status to ensure everything is going smoothly and they should be able to detect and correct situations like mine.
Overall, like I said, just some minor issues and everything will be fine in the end. But there's always room for improvement!"
