"I buy clothing online often, usually from high end retailers. I've bought a number of items from Halara, and as long as I like them, the experience has been fine But I just received items that don't fit and I tried to return them and it is SO complicated and frankly, antiquated. . I have to pay postage if I want a refund. I had to take photos of the items and submit them for permission to even APPLY for a refund. I have no return label, I have no instructions other than the usual "don't wear it" . I have a package ready to send back and my choices were pay full postage for a refund or accept a gift card. I chose gift card (begrudgingly). I am STILL waiting for a return label. I am used to Amazon or Nordstrom or boutique online shops that respect customers and attempt to retain them. I have spent close to $1000 with Halara and I will NEVER EVER shop there again. I hope it was worth losing a customer for the cost of postage and respectful treatment. VERY DISAPPIONTED."
"I purchased 3 dresses based on the size chart provided. The dresses were too small so I wanted to do an exchange just because I knew having used a gift card for part of the order price it would be more complicated to return and then repurchase. They told me I couldn’t do an exchange and had to return and then repurchase but the gift card would not be refunded. They quoted me a policy that doesn’t apply and instead of just making it right they won’t. I was perfectly fine waiting the ridiculous amount of time it would have taken for me to ship it back and them to ship the exchanged sizes but they wouldn’t do that. "

"I purchased in two sizes and both fit so I gave one to my sister in law. I have to say for a company manufacturing overseas I have never seen so much real time attention and communication to me. First they asked why I was getting two sizes and within hours I received an email telling me these dresses were getting on an international flight to Newark! The quality is ridiculous. I can wear to run errands or relax. I actually work out in this now. No bra! And the best part, is the freaking pockets. This dress was definitely designed by a woman! Also! you can get this thing wet and it dries like a bathing suit. I love it. "

"My first time ordering from Halara, and I have to say the dress is cute. According to their size chart, I should have ordered a size Large with my bust being 36, yet my waist was a bit larger than what a Large says. Also, my hips were right at the limit. I didn't feel I should go into an XL so I ordered the Large. It is very tight. I am not sure it is supposed to be this tight. I am hoping I lose a little weight so I can fit better in it. The shipping seemed a bit slow but with CoVid and the company being based in China, I guess I can't complain."
