"I ordered some vitamins from this company, HealthDesigns, and though I did receive in a timely fashion, one of the glass bottles arrived shattered. Since it is a kit, I called to see if I could get the one that was shattered replaced. The product was packed in box that had no 'fragile' label, it was packed with two pieces of paper. Obviously it was not packed properly.

The rep, Amber, consulted her 'manager' and stated that company policy states that they can give me partial store credit for me to purchase another kit. So I have to pay over $20 to get the other half of the kit? I explained to her that this did not seem fair at all. She consulted her manager again and stated that they would send me a new kit out but I would have to pay shipping. So again, I have to pay to have something shipped to me to replace what I already paid to have shipped to me and it was shipped poorly? She said that was store policy since I was already in possession of one good bottle. I explained to her that this was two different vitamins that are supposed to be taken together...what advantage do i have of only having one half of the kit? The other bottle is useless without it's counterpart. Some how they feel I am at an advantage. I offered to email photos of the damaged bottle. But she said my choice was to take 1/2 store credit and buy another bottle or pay for shipping to have new set sent to me.

I told her that if I were to have to pay shipping, I'd rather pay to have it sent back and would like full store credit. She said no problem, I didn't need to ship back and she would just apply full credit right there over the phone. What??? Screwy and not so intelligent 'policies' at this company. My advice to find another company to deal with. I'm sure from the reviews that this product is great, but if you have issues with damaged shipping you are going to have some confusing and asinine conversations. BTW, They did refund me right away...minus the shipping charge. Classy."
