"I ordered a Neil Young Texas Special F3 from them in January. After several weeks, the item was finally shipped to me directly from their distributor. Keep in mind that they hold NO inventory themselves. I contacted Darlene via email several times requesting a receipt as Lionel requires a receipt to process warranty claims. I have not received a reply from her. This is NOT the way to conduct a business."

"Avoid HobbyStation.net at all costs. I have placed several orders with this company dating back to 2006. Unfortunately, since 2010 the service provided by this company has declined significantly. The final event to devastate my trust occurred with a preorder delivery in January 2012. I had to contact them to ship me the preorder, even though it had been delivered by Lionel two months prior. A charge was placed on my credit card and then I waited and waited….nothing. Again I had to contact the merchant and the item was finally shipped and received defective! I returned the item and was informed the replacement would be shipped immediately after receipt of the returned locomotive. After a 4 week battle of back and forth emails, voice messages (many times no response to email or no answer to a phone call) and a threat of a credit card merchant charge dispute, I finally received the replacement locomotive. This is no way to operate a business. I’m done with them. Be forewarned."

"I am not happy with the hobbystation.net. I ordered a locomotive for a Christmas gift. It arrived within a resonable time, but there was no receipt to show my proof of purchase. I contacted hobbystation.net and was told they would email me a word document showing the purchase information. I was told by Lionel they require a merchant's actual receipt for warranty work. I also contacted them about exchanging the item since it was a gift and was told I was stuck with it. They suggested I resell it on ebay. I do not recommend this site, a return policy is not listed anywhere on the site, because they won't accept exchanges or returns."

"I placed on order for some Lionel train track via the internet the evening before Thanksgiving. I received a prompt email acknowledgment for my order right away. The order was shipped via UPS on Monday after Thanksgiving, and I received another email with a UPS tracking number. The track arrived packed very well as scheduled 2 days later. I was a little hesitant to order from this merchant because it had not been reviewed on resellerratings.com before, but I'm very glad I did: the price for the products was great, the shipping charges were very reasonable, the email acknowledgments were immediate, and the items I ordered were shipped very promptly. This transaction could not have been any better."
