"Please don't ever buy anything from Hodress and save yourself a massive headache!
I bought a dress from them because their website said that it would arrive in 15 days. I had an event that I wanted to attend in 23 days, so I bought the dress, thinking there was plenty of contingency time. How wrong I was!
The order confirmation said that it could take up to 30 days, so I emailed them immediately to express my concerns about needing the dress for my event. They assured me that they would ship it the next days and that it would arrive in time.
2 days before my event, I still hadn't received my order, so I emailed them again, nervous about getting the dress on time. They still hadn't even shipped it!
I asked for a full refund at that point, but then, a few days later, I received a shipping confirmation! After my event had already been. When the dress did finally arrive, it was after even the 30 days promised.
I have had over 50 emails back and forth with a representative from Hodress, who has been so unhelpful and uncooperative, and who has refused to take any responsibility.
They've even started re-sending me emails that I have already replied to!
The best offer I have had is $35 back for a $200 dress, which just absolutely doesn't cut it for such an unsatisfying, stressful and fraudulent transaction!

"Purchased a dress recently and despite giving them all the measurements they requested (on a size diagram) the dress is very badly fitting and in 2 spots very poorly sewn together such that the lining is showing on the neckline.
This company doesn't have a clue about customer satisfaction and weren't in the least bit helpful or respectful of the problems with their product, but instead wanted to say we got sizes wrong and quality is ok. They then suggested we take it to a local tailor and have it repaired and this would only cost $20. Bahhaaa.
NEVER BUY from these people they just want your money and will not fix anything but instead blame you or palm it off. Very bad experience!!

I purchase a dress to be a bridesmaid at a wedding. Hodress factory made a mistake and I received a dress in the wrong colour.
I spent over 2 weeks requesting for a replacement or refund. They refused to give me a replacement unless I paid more money for it. Hodress costumer service reply: we can make a new dress for you with the correct color, and you just pay for a little money for the new dress, is that ok? This is an absurd response since it was their mistake.
They also refused to give me a refund and give me an address to return the dress.
At the end I paid $200 for a custom made dress, which I can’t wear and I can’t. I also had to purchase a second dress to wear at the wedding.
Hodress uses an Australian domain website but they are in China, they do not comply with Australian Consumer Rights.
Do never trust Hodress or any business linked to Hong Kong Lavson Technology Limited.
