"This seller has very good prices, and they even give a free screen protector with each repair. They did an excellent job in repairing my iPod Touch (4th generation). They have an impressive 100% rating on eBay (proudestmouse). I decided to order my repair through iDeviceRepairs.com (instead of through eBay) because their website orders save $5.00 off their eBay price.
The seller has good email communication. And, they are very prompt in their service. I ordered my repair on a Friday, I shipped my iPod Touch to them on a Saturday, and they received and repaired it on Monday of the following week. The next day, they shipped it back to me. They have a very quick turn around time!
Unfortunately, the iDeviceRepairs.com website does not state that they do not ship via "priority mail", like they do for people who purchase through eBay. Instead, they ship via "parcel post" which can be a lot slower. Nor does their website state that they do not insure the iPod Touch when they mail it back.
This caused a lot of anxiety for me because it took 10 days for me to receive my iPod Touch after they mailed it. I only live 450 miles from where they are located in Pittsburgh (an easy 7 hour drive). So, I worried that my iPod had either been lost or stolen.
I was overjoyed when it finally arrived! But, in retrospect, I would have ordered my repair through eBay, instead of through their website. I would have spent the extra $5.00 just to have it shipped via "priority mail" instead of "parcel post". I think that iDeviceRepairs.com should clearly state on its website that they do not ship "priority mail", and that they do not insure. This would help prepare people like myself for a possible long delay in the return of their iPod Touch."
