"I destroyed my ipad 6 following the instructions online from iFixit. Not blaming iFixit entirely, but the adhesive inside that thing is brutal. I heated it with the iOpener, I heated it with a hair dryer. I finally had some success laying it on a heating pad, but by that time, the damage was done. The ribbon conductors to the screen were broken, the antenna wire insulation was cracked, and I would need yards of insulation tape to put it back together, if it was even possible. I will never attempt a battery replacement on an ipad agaid."
