"Very disappointed with ifixit.com. They sent me a defective product: "MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Mid 2012-Early 2013) Battery / New / Fix Kit." After spending almost 2 hours installing the replacement battery, the MacBook Pro started up just fine. The next day, the battery would no longer hold a charge. I provided a coconutBattery report/screenshot for their reference proving that the battery itself was defective. I then ended up paying another $200 to have a professional install a new battery. When I sent iFixit back the defective battery, they claimed it wasn't the battery they sent me and refused to provide a refund. I, personally, will never work with this company again. "

"The heating tool didn’t do anything to loosen up the adhesive on my iPad. Since it didn’t loosen up the adhesive in attempting to remove the screen ended up shattering the screen. So I had to resort to a hair dryer to soften the adhesive to get the screen off. After shattering the screen ended up breaking the home button cable. So now I’m waiting on the new home button."

"The item arived deformed due to a non adaptet package. Did not have time to send it back and to wait for another one.
I needed to adjust it manualy before the instalation and it is still not perfect.

"I had a rapidly failing battery in my MOTO Z Force that was less than 2 years old and still in very good condition. The iFixit kit wasn't the least expensive, but it looked like it came with the most complete toolkit. It arrived quickly once I figured out it could not be shipped to a PO Box. Ingenious method of heating the phone without a heat gun to loosen the adhesive. Genuine Motorola battery included. The process provided by iFixit was very understandable and while complicated, went pretty much as described. Only hitch was that I accidentally dislodged the cable that connects the side buttons and it took me awhile to find that and figure it out.
Still, very good and my phone battery works like new, now!"

"Kit came with everything I needed to remove old adhesive and pry up old battery. New battery fit like a glove (which was also included in the kit :) ) and macbook is back up and running in about 30 minutes! The multi tool screwdriver was a bonus as well. I'll keep using that!"

"Screen display broke after a little over 2 months. It's dim and unresponsive. I hoped that by buying through iFixit that the part would be a little higher quality than the ones on Amazon but I was wrong. The screen display color was also way off, it has sort of an orange glow to it.

"I installed my ssd with ease. My MacBook Pro late 2011 model17 inch as a boot up time of 25 seconds. Absolutely crushed the 7 minutes boot up time on the factory old HD (hard drive).
