"This OldFrenchy guy is a fraud. He put up his wall mount without going into a stub and his TV fell to the floor. He wants us to pay for his TV. Now ask yourself, why blame us for his mistake."
"The website showed the Peerless in-wall mount with extension plate for large TVs. A telephone call to ImOutlet.com verified that it was the same item as I required. The product was ordered; however, receipt of the item showed it to be a different model than the one pictured. Istallation had already started costing me $$$$. Loyd at customer service was friendly, helpful and sympathetic- but he could do nothing to rectify my problem and the parent company (who Loyd kept mysteriously unknown) would only allow a return. No satisfaction, no attempt to correct the problem, and no apologies. We'll see if they reimburse the money in a timely manner.
Do not trust what you see on the website. They will screw up and it will be on your dime.
2-14-09 Update:
We have not received our money despite repeated attemps to contact the company. The website has been 'down for maintenance' for the last 10 days, and telephone calls to customer service has a recorded message that states "mailbox is full.".
I presume they have pulled the website and moved on to greener pastures.
We are now dealing with the bank and Visa to get our money back. Be forwarned!"
