"My Canon takes 8 separate cartridges. It's an incredible printer, but if I bought Canon brand inks it would cost me the price of the printer every time I had to replace a set. Ink 4 art saves me a fortune every year. I use them for laser toner too, but don't need that nearly as often."
"I'm a long time customer. Ink4Art continues to save me a fortune. With the price of manufacturer ink, this is the only way to go.
Fast shipping, great customer service."
"I bought 6 cartridges from ink4art.com. As soon as I put in the first black one the printer stopped working so I put in a different one. Eventually the error messages suggested I replace all the color cartridges too. Nothing worked and ink4art customer service couldn't help me. So I had to buy a whole new printer and they won't take back any cartridge that has ever been put in. I sent back the one unopened cartridge and they can't find it and claim they never got it. Including the bad ink and new printer they have now cost me over $500."
"This company sells poorly made ink which is made in China. I have an Epson 900 which worked perfectly until I used their ink cartridges, No yellow came out of the color cartridge, all other colors were printing with gaps and were not crisp. The cartridges appeared to be partially if not completely dried up in certain colors.Their customer service department tries to indicate that it must be defective heads on your printer irregardless what the problem is.
They are a company which does not stand behind their guarantee of 100% satisfaction. Expiration date indicates 4/2010. "
"Ordered 2 HP 97 "Manufactured 100% brand new" carts. Received two used, refilled HP carts. Customer Service sent me an email stating
"our Hp cartridges are re-manufactured, with the insides all redone and flushed professionally with new insides"
Not exactly 100% brand new."
"I ordered some inks from them for my Brother 420CN printer. They came with right part# (LC41x) but it donesn't fit because the ink head is on the wrong side, and the ink is driping all over the place when I tried to install them. I called their customer service to complain the problme but they refused admitted they've made a mistake. I'll never order anything from them again!"
"Bottom line - my pictures look fine. Skin tones are realistic, with no streaks or strange hues. With the 35 or 40 percent off coupons I can buy 4x - 6x more ink than the generic and Canon tanks found at my local store. Ink4art has the lowest price for color inktanks for my Canon printer when purchased in 12-packs."
"I have ordered from ink4art several times (multiple cart each time. Price is good, delivery is also good. It seems as though I use a little more ink with non-factory brands - but generally they work well. I clean my printer a lot, but I don't use it every day (sometimes all week)"
"The positives; the ink arrived promptly and as adverstised also the price was competitive.
The negatives; the ink simply does not work for photo prints on a Canon i860. I now have to go through the hassle of paying for a return of the ink to get a refund (lets see if it arrives - I will post a follow-up)."
"I'm surprised by all the negative comments and lack of recent postings. I've been ordering from Ink4art for about a year. Perhaps there are better inks for my Epson (I know there are worse for sure) but I've not had a problem with there orders nor any problems with the inks. I did have one that seemed to be off a little in color and we swapped out the color cart for another with better results. But considering the cost per part and the saving per cart I'll take an occasional sub-standard cart.
Out of 50 or so carts 1 bad is acceptable to me and I've never had a problem with with any shipments sent my way.
This last order came in a box that was poorly taped together (another delivery box inside out) and was actually open, but no damage to the contents and it was all there including shipping invoice, so I consider this a small and insignificant event.
Bottomline: I will continue to order from them and I recomment them, especially give them a try because even a 1 cart trial is cheap compared to the real carts sold by Epson."
"Before my order from ink4art.com, I had used one set of original Epson ink and two cartridge sets of generic ink from 123inkjets.com in my C80 printer. I was happy with them, though the printhead tended to dry with the replacement ink a little sooner.
Then I was attracted by a 'deal', 3 sets (12 cartridges) of ink for $38, from ink4art.com. As the old ink ran out, I put in the ink4art cartridges, and the printer quickly met its fate. The black cartridge was leaking, and soon enough black ink was everywhere in puddles in the printer and in big stains on the paper. The yellow didn't work from the next day (either the excess black clogged the yellow nozzle or the yellow cartridge was altogether defective), while the magenta lasted 2-3 more days.
I read newsgroups and tried from mild to more and more aggressive washing/unclogging techniques (clean nozzle cycles -> soaking -> syringe with warm water). All in vain.
Now I am down with $150 (printer value) + $38 ("deal" value). ink4art customer service replied my first mail, and offered store credit. I respect that, but further quantities of crap ink was entirely useless. They did not reply my second mail, though I was always polite.
Learn from this and avoid ink4art. Avoid Epson too, according to web stories other printers are less prone to clogging problems."
"6 days After placed the order, a shipping confirmation were sent to me. The products is okay but not good.

"Purchased their 'generic' brand. When printing, it prints with white streaks through all pages, sometimes completely blank, and maybe once every 10 pages prints an entire page. However, it's not much better getting an entire page, because all the characters are blurry thoughout the page. Submitted a form to at least tell them the problem--too much trouble to go through the entire return process, so I figured they should at least know about their blurry print/bad cartridge. But their 'return' page gives me a "server not found: This page cannot be displayed" message.
Don't waste your time with them"
"I'm surprised to read some of the dissatisfied ratings ink4Art received.
I've used them for about one year, and I've had very little problem with their ink.
One a few occaisions, I've had to throw out a problematic a cartridge, but I figure that since their prices are much cheaper than the "generic", I can live with that.
I'm starting to run low on ink, and may or may not buy from them again. But, I cant really low rate them at all.
Maybe the next batch might give me a problem....."
"I spent 25.00 for a low quality piece of junk cartridge that did not work. I had to pay 6.00 to have the thing shipped and 5.00 to ship it back. They will not even credit me for one way shipping. I'm out 11.00 for a piece of crap cartridge. Stay away from this company. Spend the extra 3 bucks for a cartridge from a legit seller."
