"InsideComputer charged my card immediately and then did not ship the hard drive enclosure I ordered.
I called the number on their invoice, but always was put directly into voice mail. I never was able to speak to a human being. I left messages asking for (and then demanding) status of my order. I never received a response.
I sent them email asking where my product was. I never received a response.
So, I cancelled my order and STRONGLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING THIS MERCHANT UNLESS you want to invest a lot of time chasing them down.

"These guys are very shady, they operate with dozens of names on ebay. cwvision, digital123 & superdeal-01 are just several to name.
I bought a "Brand New" PCMCIA Card Reader and a "Sealed Retail Package" SanDisk Wifi Card.
I received a severely used and physically bent PCMCIA reader and an opened unsealed Sandisk card without any of the accessories that come as stated in their description.
I emailed them a few times and never got a response. I ended up calling their main number ***-***-****) and was told to send everything back, I did so immediately.
They have received the items back but have not made any effort to refund my money. Calling them is a joke, there is no coordination between employees and I am told nothing except "The RMA department is processing it".
These guys are a total and complete sham of an honest business. They are badly operated just like the other Asian operated computer merchants based in the East Los Angeles area. They wouldn't know what customer support is if it hit them square in the head.
Bring your business to an honest company. These criminals make a living selling low quality, used and counterfeit products. Sandisk, SONY and Lexar are investigating Insidecomputer's counterfeit memory sales. STAY AWAY"

"I purchased a 3.5" external hard drive enclosure from this seller on ebay. They sell this product on their website as well. I realize this is probably not the proper place to rate them, but ebay's feedback system is worthless. If you give a negative, you get a negative. I figure the way they do business on ebay is the way they do business on the website. That is why I decided to go ahead and rate them here.
There is no real reason why I bought it through ebay as opposed to their website. I had been looking on both sites for over a month. I didn't get the item on ebay any cheaper than I would have gotten it on their website. I knew this going into the transaction. That being said, I should have purchased it through the website, as you will see.
The transaction went well, but the item didn't work. It was also cheaply made, which is not evident on their website or their ebay description. I contacted the seller. They were willing to let me return the item, but they woudn't refund shipping. I don't normally expect a seller to refund shipping - that is sort of the risk of buying over the internet. However, on ebay, the seller avoids fees by offering the item at a low price and jacking up the shipping (about twice the website shipping). That was the rub. Since I bought through ebay, the seller wasn't willing to refund a "fair" amount. I guess it was my fault for not thinking of this in advance. In my opinion, the sellers "strict" adherence to their ebay terms has permanently lost them a customer."
"I ordered on 7.14.2004 for a Sony AC adapter, it has been more than 15 days and I never received the item.
I got order confirmation email immediately after I placed the order. Since than I haven't received a single email for shipping confirmation and tracking number. I called so many times to the number listed on their web site, there was either no one picking up the phone or getting a full voice mail box. I also sent many emails to ****@**** asking for shipping status, and I never received a single reply.
It has been more than 15 days since I placed my order, I finally contacted my credit card company and put a stop payment on it.
I will never buy from this store again. "
"It's been 1 week now and I still don't have my order. Apparently my order was erroneously sent to New Jersey. I live in Maryland. I have never heard of an order being shipped to the wrong address before. I'd understand if the order was misdelivered by the carrier but not misaddressed. I want to have my shipping refunded. I think the $13 to ship 2 little digital camera batteries and a memory card reader is ridiculous. The company so thoughtfully reshipped my order today and it should arrive in 3 days. That's absolutely brilliant. Let's see today is Thursday so I won't get the order until Monday most likely. Great another weekend with a battery for my digital camera. The grand total of days waiting for my order is going to be 13 days. Totally unacceptable. I won't make the same mistake of ordering from them again!"

Good communication (email and tele.)Some difficulty understanding proprietor's accent, but pleasant and helpful. Would be happy to shop here again. No experience, yet, with product support. "I purchased 2 512MB compact flashs. After less than two months of use they stopped working. After finding the paperwork I noticed that they gave me a warrenty. So I e-mailed them with the problem and they told me to send it back with $20.00 to cover handling. I sent them the money, the check is cashed and they don't answer my e-mails. "I was looking for this compact flash player around the interenet but was afraid of doing business with a company that was going to just take my money and not deliver.
After a little research, I placed my order with another company first. There web site stated that they had it in stock. But when I called to get the confirmation #, they told me that it was going to take around 4 days plus the 2 day shipping. I needed this player before the weekend came. I went with my second choice (inside computer). But this time I wanted to talk to somebody on the phone to make sure that the item was in stock. When the answered the phone, they were very nice and friendly, though I do have to admit that the person on the phone didn't speak english too well and that got me a bit worried about it. But I am glad that I decided to do business with them. I ordered my NEX player on Tuesday afternoon and got it Thursday morning w/ 2nd day shipping! It was a smooth transaction and great dealing with them."
