Smooth Reliable great performance

"This is my first experience buying a PC I have played all my life in consoles and decided to give a shot to PC gaming. I'm super happy and exited on how fast ut got delivered (less 48hrs) and on top of that the way it is set up the specs and everything is everything a gamer could wish for. I'm happy to make the transition to PC and as of right now started better that I could expect"

"Great place to buy a "do it yourself computer system". I was impressed with the detail they put into assembling the system and testing it out. The attention to the detail of routing the cables for example. I would buy again from them."

"These guys are great for everything except for customer service and billing.

Their vDeck interface for Domain and website management is pretty good: very intuitive, and very accessible, with excellent options and easy access to even uncommonly used features. The help system is above average and very informative.

Their staff have been friendly, nonabrasive, and English speaking (unfortunately becoming an important feature these days).

The problem comes when you run into something that requires their help. I asked them last year to take my two domain names off auto-renew, no dice. While helping someone else with their domain name, it took 2 weeks and about 6 calls to fix a double billing issue. I recommended them to my work (bad idea) and they've double billed, auto renewed accounts when they were set to manual renew, and never combined domains from 9 different accounts into one as requested (3 times now). But now I have only 6 accounts to track, one with 2 domains, and one with 3....

Incidentally, since last time I messed with my account (about 9 months ago), they have added features so you can set your account to manual, or combine multiple accounts w/o customer support interaction. (Big plus.)

Despite the good things, I still would NOT recommend using them because of these issues.

"iPower's customer service is pathetic. They double-charged me for my hosting service and three calls over three months have still not gotten it corrected. Each time they said it would be and each time it wasn't. I would probably be out the $95 except that American Express simply refunded me the money (it was past their 90 day deadline for a dispute investigation, but I had tried to enter the dispute online - since iPower was doing nothing - and their online system wouldn't let me, so the rep kindly just credited my account). Kudos for AMEX and a pox on iPower. This is not the first difficulty I've had with them. Overall, I've never been happy and I need to find the time to move my website. Hopefully that will happen in the next few months because they are either incompetent or a bunch of crooks."
