"ordering easy, installing the fun part "
"best price around, we will see if the tv is all that they say it is. "
"Placed order. Got an email to call to confirm because the order has high value merchandise. Called phone number and gave rep numbers from back of card. He stated they would get the order out. Several emails to them asking for shipping date. No replies. Check the complaints against them at the Scottsdale, AZ Better Business Bureau site before you order. I'm going to request cancellation of my order if I don't get an answer "
"Nearly a month since placing my order on line - No shipping, can not get thru to customer "agent", no reply to my e-Mail."
"Really bad customer service experience "
"I'm used to lots of weird marketing gotchas like preselecting extra items or multiple clicks to see a price, but Joe's site is very straight forward."
"I checked all over for a better price and Joes was way better than the competition and the web site was easy to use. "
"Very easy site to work with"
"Hesitant but hopefull. Hard to get through on the phone. "
"Smooth operators at joe's AV"
"fast and easy way to order "
"Think you've found a deal too good to be true on JoesAV? You have. Here's what you can expect:
You'll place your order and congratulate yourself on finding a bargain. A day or two later, you'll get an automated email telling you that they need some additional information to complete the order, instructing you to call their toll-free number.
You'll call and wait on hold for 45 minutes or more. Occasionally a message will interrupt the hold music telling you that you have the option to press any number and leave your number to call you back when they're available. Don't bother, pressing numbers does nothing.
If the phone is eventually answered, you'll talk to a surly representative who will try to sell you something more expensive than what you ordered. The excuse for requiring you to call them is that they need the security code from your credit card. This is just part of the scam - like every other online retailer, they could easily collect this at the time of purchase.
If you give them the security code and insist on the item you ordered, they'll hang up. But you'll continue to receive the automated emails requiring you to call them before your order can be processed. Rinse and repeat.
I saw no path to actually getting my order filled and cancelled it. Don't bother doing that through their website - the link to "Change or Cancel your order" just takes you to an order summary that doesn't provide the option to change or cancel anything. "
"This is my first time with your site. I hope the rest of the experience is good and I'm looking forward to receiving the TV."
"ORDERING PROCESS WAS EASY. BUT CUSTOMER SERVICE TOOK AWHILE TO GET ON THE PHONE, BUT THEY WERE VERY QUICK TO HANG UP THE PHONE WITH BARELY MAKING SURE I UNDERSTOOD ALL THE WEBSITE HAD TO OVER."
"I really hate to be asked to review a company before my order has even been processed or shipped. What if the final experience turned out to be a disaster? Ask me to rate or review AFTER I have received my order and you might get a higher rating than 3 stars (neutral)."
