"Regarding coronavirus and flying through Hongkong, I called atleast five times. After explaning to the agent I spoke on Feb 10 and Feb 14, they politely said since the flight I was traveling will have to go through Hongkong and since they can't rebook ticket rerouting through other place and nobody knows about how long coronavirus will last, she said me to go ahead and book another airlines ticket and she said she proceeded for refund request. The agent I spoke on Feb 17 said they have cancelled my ticket of Cathay and refund is in process. Everytime I call I ask the agent to make note so I won't have to explain everything to new agent. But the agent I spoke was soo rude and when I asked to read previous notes also she was not ready, and she said the refund was not possible and no one said so before. I booked another airlines ticket only after confirming on Feb 14 and 17 that they cancelled flight and refund is in process."
