The only response was that Lamps Plus had no control over where and how theyre vendors shipped. I was sorry to hear that Lamps Plus had not worked to find out how and at what costs their vendors were using for shipping. Specifically ,to states included in the US. This is a very important lack of customer support from Lamps Plus and an important feature to everyone who gets the same surprise , as I did , about the very high shipping and handling rates.
