"I ordered my laptop battery on August 14th 2016. Todays date is December 30th 2016 and I have yet to receive any confirmation of the item being shipped. Their communication has been terrible to say the least. The only time I was ever informed of any shipping issues or processing issues was when I went out of my way to contact them with my concern. They were unable to ship my battery and they never made an effort keep me informed. I do not recommend this site to anybody who wishes to actually receive the item they ordered within a reasonable time frame. I would rate it zero stars, but unfortunately that is not an option."
"NO STARS! This company is made up of a bunch of thieves. Not responding with return instructions so that you pass the 30 day policy to return...like us Americans are too stupid to notice ."
"This company sent me the wrong item, told me it would work (it didn't), then asked me to send it back to them- which cost me 70 dollars- and then never refunded the Visa card as they promised, even after four direct email reminders.
It has now been 5 months since they took my money (6 weeks BEFORE shipping the wrong battery- also a no-no, to take the money before shipment). Stay far, far away from this disreputable company."
"I should of read the reviews before I ordered. Not only did Amazon have the part I needed for easily $20 cheaper, but the company doesn't even allow me to return the item for a refund."
"claim to sell original oem parts even documented in writing at point of sale confirmed in writing delivered untimely bogus no name part Paypal should eliminate them They count on being out of China no consequences real crooks!!!"
"My husband and I are moving across the country. For the roadtrip, my husband wanted a car adapter for his new laptop. Since the model is relatively new, it was tough to find it, but LaptopBatteryOnline.net had one. I checked and double checked their shipping policies and did the math...taking into account Labor Day we were supposed to receive it Tuesday, Sept 2nd, and we were leaving Monday, Sept 8th. Perfect, that allows for any mess ups! Or not. That week came and went without a package. On Friday, Sept 5th I emailed them to the email address listed on the invoice asking what was going on--no response. I just emailed back today (Sept 9th) since we left a day late saying that we didn't get it, we are leaving, and we have no use for it now. We'll see if they respond this time. If it's USPS it will be forwarded to the new address, but the roadtrip will be over by then. They totally dropped the ball. I'm probably going to proceed with fraudulent actions. Wish I read this first."
"LaptopBatteryOnline.net is DELIBERATELY DECEITFUL. I bought a replacement battery for a Toshiba laptop for $85 that was listed as "brand new" but was really a USED Toshiba battery case with the cells shoddily replaced, the Toshiba name crossed out with black marker, and some of the plastic tabs (for screws) broken off.
I emailed LaptopBatteryOnline customer service and they replied promptly, urging me to give it a try. When I insisted on returning the battery for a refund, they stopped replying. I finally called their customer service number in China. They actually agreed to take the battery back, if I sent it regular "flat" mail and declared the value to be $1... but it turns out that it is almost impossible to LEGALLY, affordably, return a battery to China because of shipping restrictions on lithium-ion batteries. The U.S. Postal Service will NOT accept a lithium-ion battery for shipment to an international destination, in any mailing class, unless it is installed in the equipment it is intended to operate. (Section 135.6 of the USPS International Mailing Manual.) When I pointed this out to LaptopBatteryOnline.net, they said I should write "AC adapter" on the customs form -- but I was not willing to lie to circumvent safety regulations and customs.
Shipping companies such as FedEx, UPS, DHL, and TNT actually WILL ship lithium-ion batteries if they meet explicit IATA conditions (PI965, Section II) on capacity, packaging, specific labeling on the outside of the package, and extra documentation. (Google "DHL lithium battery guidance", for instance.) Note, though, that IATA regulations prohibit air transportation of any lithium-ion battery confirmed or suspected to be defective. Also, the cost of using one of those services to ship to China is generally more than the $85 I was trying to get back.
I used PayPal dispute resolution to try to compromise on a partial refund without returning the battery, and LaptopBatteryOnline at first agreed on $50 -- but then reneged on that agreement and offered only $35, which I refused. PayPal sided with me on my claim, but they require the product to be returned in order to get the refund. I did actually find a way to return the battery to China for a net cost of about $43 (using a package forwarding service, Shipito.com), but then LaptopBatteryOnline refused to pay the import fees and take delivery! With the package in limbo in China, I appealed to PayPal and they finally credited my account for the $85 -- but the MANY hours over ~2 months (and $43 net cost) I spent on this fiasco convinced me that one should never buy a laptop battery from LaptopBatteryOnline.net, or any other company with a product return address in another country."
"I bought a replacement battery from laptopbatteryonline.net for $80. It arrived without plastic packaging, and the "TOSHIBA" label had been purposely torn off. (All that was left was the "BA". Presumably it was removed to indicate that the battery was dead.)
After installing the battery and allowing it to charge in the laptop overnight, it will not hold a charge. The battery charge reading fluctuates from 2% to 100%, with a red "X" in the taskbar icon and a warning that says "consider replacing your battery". If the laptop is unplugged from the wall, it shutdowns down suddenly after about a minute from lack of power.
Not only was the battery broken, they it was clear from the packaging that they should have *known* it was broken. When I contacted them for a return authorization, they responded in broken English with a question that I directly answered in my original request. I repeated the answer with rephrasing, and I'm still waiting to hear back on the return.
I strongly recommend against them."
"THIS "COMPANY" IS CRAP!!!!!! DO NOT order from this website. They have garbage products, they are NOT the original AC adapters like they claim they are. They are crappy generic adapters that you can buy for $10. I tried to cancel my order less than an hour after I placed it and first they refused, saying "it is late, we have packed it and sent it", then they said "we can suspend shipping but it will cost $10, do you want it or not!" (actual words from email). Then I receive a tracking number because I didn't respond to their email that was sent at 3:27AM. I tried to track the package but there was no record until 3/19/14 and it said the package "was received on 3/18/14". I wish I had read the reviews before I made the purchase!!!! I didn't want a fake/generic adapter, so when I saw the price of $35.00 for an "original Toshiba" adapter I thought it was actually an original. The reply emails come from "king mary" and "Robin G", not even from the company name. To anyone thinking of ordering anything from their website please, please, please do not waste your money or time with them!!! I should have done my research before I made my purchase!!!"
"ABSOLUTE TERRIBLE COMPANY, TERRIBLE PRODUCTS, TERRIBLE SERVICE
Absolute garbage company. They advertised a real HP product and had a picture on their site. It took them over a month to deliver what is likely a fake chinese AC Adapter to me. They would not let me return the item. They are terrible. Do not do business with them."
"Everything is according to the description. Got the product on time."
"Ordered on 9/2. My credit card was charged promptly on 9/3 with an email confirmation from Andy @ ****@****. Since then, nothing, no communication. The tracking link in the email does not work. I emailed back to the person above yesterday, no response. I emailed from the web page just a few minutes ago. Will report back on my experience. "
"Do not buy from this company. Poor quality product and poor customer service; let me change that - NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I purchased a laptop charger labeled as thought it came from the OEM (Toshiba) and it worked for one use and will now not work. I have been going back and forth with them via email to no satisfactory resolution. The person writing to me responds during late night hours telling me he/she is overeas, and only provides one sentence answers that make no sense. And provide no option for refund, or return. "
"I was apprehensive about using this company based on the reviews here. But I needed a power adapter for a Lenovo E431, which is new and has a different power connector than other Lenovo laptops. No other site said they had it in stock, so I tried this one, using PayPal to protect the purchase. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered it on Jul 31, and it shipped from Hong Kong on Aug 2. It only took eight days to get to me, and was delivered by USPS on Aug 10. It was the right part, and it works fine. Can't complain."
"Ordered on April 28th. Took them 4 business days to respond to my inquiries and part wasn't shipped until the 7th. Coming from overseas it'll take 3-4 weeks from purchase to receive the item. I haven't even gotten it yet and i'm requesting it be returned. I deeply regret doing business with this company. I highly recommend you steer clear. ebay has Samsung slim chargers for same price that ship within the US. That's the way to go. "
