"I ordered a multi-piece couch in March 2021. One of the pieces was backordered by a couple months but I thought it was worth waiting. Now I find out that the delivery date has been pushed to April 2022 - over 13 months since I ordered. That is, IF the pieces even get delivered in April! It has been nothing but constant delays. I already have half the couch so I can't cancel. Do not trust their delivery timelines, they are purposely deceptive. I ordered all the furniture for a 7-bedroom house at once, and even with COVID, every other item I ordered was delivered within 6 months. To have to wait well over a year for an item is reprehensible. I understand there are shipping delays but the timelines they have given me all along have been wildly inaccurate.
The one good thing is that they have a customer service rep who will write back to your emails, and at least tell you that you aren't getting your items for many more months."
"The sofa I received was missing 3 parts so I can't assembly it and the customer service team is useless, they never reply to emails and when they do pick up the phone they don't help in any way " they just say I need to wait 7-10 business days to get a response" I have waited already 12 business days, called again and they said I need to wait another 10 business days while in the meantime I have a huge box in the middle of my living room with a sofa that I can't even assemble. "Do not do business with this company. I ordered a chair on 11/8. All of their emails show the product would be shipped in 5 - 7 business days. My credit card was charged on 11/8 even though they knew they did not have the item in stock. I had to call today and wait on hold to find out they do not have the product and expect it to be in stock on 5/22/22 six months from now. The representative was surprised I wanted to cancel the order even though it is a Christmas present. Fingers crossed I will receive the refund. Very poor customer service and even worse communication."
"Said product will be shipped in a few days. They did not ship for three weeks. When I contacted customer service, they were condescending. They said it wouldn't be shipped until the end of November six weeks after purchase. I called back to cancel because i had purchased another chair. They then said they had shipped it. "The quality of the furniture was very good and we enjoy the chairs. Delivery took about two months and only seemed to go through once I tried to cancel the order. Communication was poor and unhelpful. Will not be coming back."
"It was not clear in the hierarchy of the site that the product was backordered when I purchased it. When I committed to the purchase, I got an email that the product was backordered. When I looked at the site to find out the stocking date, the date was listed before I actually ordered the product. When I inquired about the stocking date, they promptly updated it to two weeks after my order date. A week later, the stocking date changed to another week later. At one point, I was checking the stocking date every day, and EVERY DAY it was getting "updated." I had wanted this product for the holidays, but finally cancelled my order and asked for a refund in the middle of January. On top of it, they asked me to review the product before they even sent me a confirmation that it had shipped, which is super frustrating for a customer. "

"I purchased a headboard over a week ago and the next day received an e-mail that my item had shipped with a FedEx tracking number. When I looked at the tracking it said it should be delivered Friday. Friday came and went and no delivery. The tracking just said a label had been created. I called LexMod on Monday and they were closed due to weather. When I called Tuesday the lady could not tell me where my order was but that she would contact the shipping department via e-mail. I asked her to call me with an update by the end of the business day. I received no call and called them back on Wednesday. The lady said that they had still not received an e-mail back from shipping. (I think its ridiculous that they can only respond with other departments through e-mail). She told me she would reach out to them again and call me. I received a call back and spoke with a man named Paul who seemed very confused about my situation but finally said that it appeared that the one headboard they had in stock was damaged and that's why it didn't ship. They were not going to get it in stock again until 2 months from now. He offered me a 10% discount on a future purchase. I told him that I had to reach out to find out about my headboard and asked him when they would have called me to let me know. He said that honestly it probably would have slipped through the cracks. Really?1?!? What kind of horrible customer service is that? And then all you offer me is 10% off another order? I don't think so. Highly unsatisfactory customer service. I don't know how they stay in business. It took them 3 days to even figure out what happened to my order. I don't advise purchasing from them."
"Both lamps I ordered arrived damaged; I would estimate 50-60 of the plastic crystals had fallen off. After sending pictures to Lexmod, they said they did NOT consider the lamps to be damaged and I had to pay for the return shipping. These people should not be in business and most likely won't be in the near future. My advice... stay far, far away from Lexmod!!!!!!"
"I purchased a bed after being informed that it could connect to a headboard. Shortly after, I was informed that that information was wrong and that it could not. I requested that the order be canceled so that I could purchase another bed from Lexmod. I reached out to customer service the same night that I purchased the bed, calling and emailing. Customer service ignored me until 3 days later, right after the bed had shipped (how convenient for them). They told me that I could pay $100 for return shipping of the bed (close to what I paid). Now I am stuck with a bed that doesn't work for my headboard, let alone is poor quality and enables the mattress to slide around on top of it. Such a waste of time and money. I don't recommend this company. "
"I bought a King size bed off LexMod and it broke the first night. Despite the fact that I followed the instructions to a T and I only slept in it for 6 hours. I immediately contacted them and they only wanted to refund me the cost of supplies it took to fix the bed. I filed a chargeback with my bank since I am not paying full price for a defective bed that broke within the first 6 hours.
In response to below:
1. A replacement was not offered. I would have taken a replacement.
2. Customers should not have to fix a bed after the first night of use.
3. Cost of additional supplies is not factored into the cost of the bed.
4. A 20% - 25% refund off a $337.05 DEFECTIVE, BROKEN bed does not fall under the term "substantial discount.""

I placed an order for 2 chairs on March 16th, and after following up on the status my order, they told me the website was wrong and the item will not be in stock until mid-April. And in Mid-April after emailing them multiple times, they told me the item will not be in stock until mid-May! "
