"Like others on this reviews site, I wanted to order some hard-to-find fixtures. Being that their site offered each item, when no where else on the web were these items in stock, I tried to reach Lightingzilla before placing an order, no response. Decided to order anyway. Order placed for a bunch of lighting, next day they cancelled it. It would appear that their business model is to list every possible fixture, (shotgun approach) then let people purchase, then cancel their order. I'm questioning if this is just a way to get people's credit card numbers?!? .... Anyway, don't waste your time. "
"I have tried to order from this company, it is 1/2 the price of other lighting companies. Their 310 phone number is disconnected.i can’t even get a return phone call, are they in business?"
"I ordered $2200 worth of light fixtures from Lightingzilla.com that had been discontinued by their manufacturers.
Minutes after posting the order I realized that four of the fixtures ($200 worth) were ordered in bronze and they were supposed to be in gunmetal gray. I sent an email asking two questions: One, if it was too late to change the order, and two, if they could change the fixtures from bronze to gunmetal.
The response was this:

I responded asking them which one? Was it too late or would they change the order? No further responses until they sent a shipping notice that the order was cancelled.
Hmm.. fine customer service there.
But it turned out OK for me. I found other online resellers that had the discontinued in stock and ended saving nearly $400 in the process.
So my advice - only order from Lightingzilla if absolutely NOBODY has what you want in stock, and never try to change your order there.

"WARNING. Wish I had come here first. Made an order through their secure site. Got suspicious when the tracking number was blank. Of course, phones disconnected, chat not working, and no response to email. Checked my Visa account, and they had immediately posted the charge which was pending. VISA said they can't do anything about the charge until it posts. They are out of business, yet continue to take credit card numbers and post charges. Ouch."

I placed an order 6 weeks ago. I have not heard anything from them. I have sent several emails and called several times to no avail. Their phone has been disconnected, so I sent an email asking them to cancel the order. I'm just hoping my credit card doesn't get charged.
Save yourself the hassle and buy it somewhere else!"
"They are out of business as of 2/5/15. We placed a order with them 1/5/15 and then never heard anything back. Tried 3 different numbers for them (They are Bay lighting inc) out of Santa Monica all numbers disconnected. Called the store located next to them and owner there confirmed that they went out of business with no forwarding number or address. DO NOT use this website. Feel free to try the 888 number and you will see its disconnected. "
"I ordered a product from Lightingzilla. I got a call a couple days later saying the price had gone up from what they had listed on their website. I begrudgingly agreed to the price change. I got the product, but I never received an invoice, email confirmation, or any correspondence from the company. I emailed, had no response. I called and talked with the "customer service" department. Still nothing. Won't use them ever again. "
"I read some other reviews that were somewhat negative regarding the service they received from this company. I found that to be totally untrue. They called me to verify the color of the shades I was ordering, as the manufacturer had an unusual way of specifying the colors. Within less than a week my order was delivered in perfect condition. They had the best price around and fast service. Can't say enough good about Lightingzilla."
"Avoid this seller at all costs! I placed an order for a light fixture which was indicated as in stock. One week later, I had no update to the order status so I phoned. I was told the item was a 5-week backorder, so I cancelled the order. I was assured I would not be charged. One week later--after three emails requesting written confirmation--and not a single reply--my order finally showed as cancelled, and the item listed as "unavailable." Imagine my surprise to receive my credit card bill and find I'd been charged for this 'unavailable' item on the day I'd placed the order! Calls to the merchant were met with curt hostility and a request to send a copy of my credit card statement by email. This is outrageous--I should not have to do this to receive credit for an item that should never had been charged in the first place. Also, there is NO physical address listed on their web site to send a letter of complaint; nor is there any listing with the BBB or any other entity I can find. My next step is to file a complaint with the credit card company. DO NOT order from this fly-by-night operation!"
