"When I order any products, I back time the delivery to avoid weekend and holiday delivery schedules. As noted in the Mac Sales email, there was a significant shipping issue a week after my order date. When I received notice that the product was shipped UPS attempted to delivery the product during the Labor Day weekend. Since there was no one here, they dropped it off at a UPS Store. This required me to spend $35.00 round trip in an Uber to pickup the SSD. From your perspective, Mac Sales would blame UPS, but I blame Mac Sales!! If I had known there was a large shipping delay I would have canceled the order, but Mac Sales did not tell me of the delay for several days. Bottom line, you've lost a customer. Mike Krim"

"Funny story, I found out about “OWC” from an anonymous consumer waiting next to me at my appointment with the Genius Bar at an Apple Store. They we’re waiting for warranty work on a new product and I was struggling with the speed of my mid 2010 MacBook Pro (that I came by used in 2012). The 2nd computer I had ever owned! Overhearing my dilemma with the Apple Rep the consumer offered up a tip to help improve my laptop’s performance and suggested that I use one of the high quality solutions offered by “OWC”. Shortly thereafter I ordered their 500 SSD upgrade kit and with the tutorial video I was able to do the install myself successfully with no prior experience (and I didn’t even realize that an owner could access the insides of these on their own! I’ve been impressed with MacSales and OWC and have been following them ever since. Along the way I also purchased another 4GB chip kit from OWC to max the memory on my laptop, again installed myself successfully. Very happy. I’ve been so satisfied with OWC products that I naturally wanted to purchase my next computer with them. Of course I’ve been swooning and drooling over their vast collection of Apple products new, refurbished and used and it has been very tough deciding for me, “the little guy”, how much to spend and how new and powerful should my new device be? And the when to purchase was recently motivated by the battery going dead on my mid 2010 MacBook Pro. Still computes but only when plugged in. I’ve upgraded to a 2017 late model MacBook Air ( now the 3rd computer I’ve owned ;-)! Don’t feel sorry for me. It’s the best I could do under my current circumstances and I’m very satisfied with my purchase. Better than represented, it works great and looks excellent. I’m already looking forward to my next computer purchase from OWC, this time with a little more advanced planning and trying to promise myself to get a current model within the next 3-4 years.
In summary, I’m very happy to associate myself with OWC as they are a tremendous resource in customer service backed with an amazing array of consumer parts and products and still keeping lots of reasonably priced computers on hand for us “little guys”
