"The SSD upgrade kits had everything we needed, and the videos made it easy to follow along, even for "normal" people with no electronics skills. We bought 6 SSD kits, and used them to "repair" old iMacs that had stopped working. We were particularly keen to do this for our 27-inch retina-display iMacs, because Apple sells only the 24-inch iMacs now. Our repaired iMacs all work great, and are faster than ever. I am glad we didn't toss out our old iMacs.

"I approached this order first via FireFox, because I prefer the degree to which I can lock that browser down. I use the NoScript extension to assist with that. By default, it disallows scripts from running in my browser, so I'm used to progressively allowing scripts from two or three third-party entities (beyond the contact site) that I may need to allow in order to complete an order.
This is the first time in years of ordering through OWC (MacSales) that I've been unable to *selectively* allow enough third-party entities to violate my browser on OWC's behalf in order to complete a simple effing transaction... specifically, to hand OWC a thousand dollars to acquire a phone for a sibling.
The initial effort asked for about four or so URLs to be allowed to run scripts in my browser. Ok, fine. Allow the seemingly necessary and try again. Multiple iterations of that kept demanding/requiring an increasing number of 3rd-party sites be allowed to **** my browser for no apparently-good reason.
I think I bailed at around 14 allowed, and contacted the online chat. "Clear your cache." As a decades-long IT guy, I humored the person and cleared my cache. Hmm. Nope... The over-demanding "Let everyone on the planet run scripts in your browser" model persisted.
Because I *really* wanted to get this order placed for my sister, I caved, gritted my teeth, and fired up a browser that I button down less stringently. No surprise, with a practically wide-open browser, the order process flew right through.
To hand you money in order to obtain a product, I shouldn't have to run naked down the Internet and let a couple dozen unrelated entities run scripts in my browser. I should be able to order with scripts running from OWC, maybe a couple of order-processing entities, maybe a CDN or two, and... that's it. I shouldn't have to let between a dozen and twenty individual sites **** their way around in my browser just to hand you some money for a product.
That process needs to be radically revised, and whoever put it in place needs to be (at the very least) lectured about how not to get in the way of someone wanting to give you money."

I do see that you ordered a computer which specifically states can take 1-3 days to build, as well as the selection of the Tax Holiday in your state which does say in the terms that it can delay the delivery time frame as well. Given the process time frame being delayed due to the Tax holiday, it still only took 3 business days for us to get these items sent out for delivery, and then were delivered just 3 days later. We apologize if this delay caused an inconvenience for you. ”
