Not worth the hassle...

"I placed all the items I wanted to purchase in my cart and proceeded to check out. Once the checkout process was complete, I received a notice stating that my order was cancelled because my credit card information could not be verified. So, I logged into my credit card account and checked my info. Everything was correct. I tried ordering again. Same thing.
So, I contacted my credit card company and they informed me that everything on my end was correct with no issues and that the vendor was at fault for the issue.
I then called MacSales to find out what was going on. The rep told me he would have to check with the finance dept and put me on hold....for 20 mins. Seriously, did the guy have to catch a train to get there? When he finally picked up again, he simply told me that they can't accept my card. He provided no specific reason why, even after informing him that my credit card company said everything was fine on my end.
It was an aggravating and time wasting experience. At the end of the day, I'm glad the sale didn't go through because if this is any indication of what I'd have to go through to get customer support (if anything happened to the equipment), I dodged a bullet.
I will never recommend them. There are better sellers out there with much better customer service.
Skip these jokers. You'll be glad you did.

Good but...

"I had to call a few times to resolve the issue. Bought a USB-C to dual HDMI for use with my new Mac Mini. Didnt work out of the box...called Tech Support..said I had to buy a new monitor and this wouldn't work with an M2 Pro. Thought about it and researched USB monitors. Decided to return the adaptor and called them, new tech support said I had to dload and install a program/driver. Did that, rebooted and it worked fine...Geez.
Usually they're on top of things but feel like they're slipping as I bought a new tray for my quad bay external...but they didn't think I needed screws? Wanted me to go through a ton of stuff to get some screws...hung up on them and bought on A******N.

Easy Peasy

"I placed a phone call to gather information and confirm that this refurbished computer would more than satisfy my requirements. The representative was patient and helpful looking things up for me to make sure. Now, as I place my order with a different gentleman my fingers are crossed, but I'm 95% comfortable that I'm doing the right thing ordering a refurbished iMac instead of spending almost twice the amount on a brand new one."

OWC Strikes again!

"I have been trying to order a 16TB thunder blade 8 for a couple of months. The first time, the website said it was in stock and shipping within 48 hours. A month later, I had not received it yet. The product seems very compelling and perfect for my editing work flow.. it is a newer product so I decided to give OWC another chance and ordered it again. Before ordering it, I chatted with their customer service and asked them to confirm that the item was in stock and that it would ship within 48 hours as the website promised. The customer service rep assured me that the item was in stock and it would ship promptly this time around. Surprise surprise.. a month later I am having to cancel the order AGAIN because it did not ship. I assume OWC products are good.. but I can't know for sure because they cant seem to get their act together and actually ship the things they sell."

usually great! This time... It's been 3 days and no info

"Well it's 3 days since I ordered a thunderbolt dock on sale. Still have not received any info And try to check online but the purchase is still not in the data stream and the website says maintenance is being done and blah blah blah. A bit frustrated but I'll give him a pass on this as usually they are very prompt and after all it was mother's Day Sunday"

Sent wrong Ram Card, now have black screen of death.

"Sent me a 8566, ordered a 8500 (as per my invoice (. Computer now displays black screen of death, tried removing the 8566 and restarting, no go. 2 mistakes led to my computer failing, I was sent the wrong part, and I went off my invoice instead of checking the actual part. Hopefully they will exchange the Ram card, but my computer is toast."
