"Well all I did was order a small bit of cable for my personal PA system. A bit of irony because I work for a major sound company (McCune in San Francisco), and all I wanted was a decent bit of 12/2 cable for my monitor rig. I received some AWESOME cable that coils in the hand like Indian Jones lasso. US Made, has cotton fibre twine inside the jacket so it coils real nice. Anyone like me, who has uncoiled/coiled MILES of cable in their sorry career will appreciate and soft compliant cable.
OK but there's more. Saugerties (Martecks location in NY state)is a COOL place. Happened to spend a night there a month ago while on vacation. There is a music store there that still has a bulletin board for musician who want to connect. Old School! Wonderful vibe in that community.
